She wrote me a poem a copy of years ago, It was touching,

Dragon Spirit Country

As the morning sun
Shines over the land
Radiating the warm
Colors over the horizon

The birds rustling their feathers
As they awaken
To feed their young and to
Sing their songs

The sights, sounds, and smells
Awaken me to my senses
I open my eyes and
Stretch to my full length

As I stand up
My eyes look at my surroundings
Searching for that
First scene of life

I see the rolling hills beyond
Full of color and lumptious flowers
As the bees swarm around them
Taking pollen as needed

I see the sparkling lake
With the fish swimming about
Going back and forth
Busy like

I see the green plains
That stretch beyond my eyes
Little creatures buzzing about
Going on with their business

My eyes wander upwards
To the bluest sky ever
Feeling the rays of the sun
I close my eyes for a minute

Absorbing all the nature around me
My mind races
My heart soars
My blood boils

I hear a familar howl
In the distance
The running of paws
Pounding faster

As I open my eyes
The wolf leaps on me
Licking me all over and
Nuzzling me

The rest are coming now
I hear their footsteps
I feel their beating of their hearts
The very essence of their soul

I'm surrounded by my loved ones
They sit around me
We talk about many things
As the day goes away into night

The stars come out one by one
The moon shines in all her glory
The wolf howls her song
As everyone listens

The nature of the night
Sings their own song
As they join the wolf
Blending into one voice

A very peaceful night
With the stars sparkling
The singing goes on
Well into the night

I look at each one around me
I see the happiness in their eyes
The love shining through
The essence of being alive

Armana with her mother like ways
Sam with her passion for love
Lady for her knowledge
Wolf with all her energy

These are the souls
Of what keeps
The dragon alive

For I, the dragon
Is the spirit
That soars in the country.
