Outgoing, friendly, love to make new friends! My Golden Retriever, Auggie, is my best friend in the world! I'm a dog lover in general, but Auggie is the BEST! Love the beach/ocean, love the TAR HEELS (basketball) and Notre Dame football. I'm a gemologist by trade and love to collect old pieces of jewelry as well. I like UNIQUE things...jewelry, furniture, decorations, art, clothing.
I find this site to be a little overwhelming at times. Lots of very nice and fun people, but very hard to keep up with emails and chats. Please know that I'm not ignoring anyone, but I'm a very busy lady and sometimes won't have the time to even read all the messages I receive, let alone reply.

Mean, disrespectful people who can't be trusted, and to see tube socks worn with sandals! Oh, and denim shorts or long jeans worn on the beach before sundown on a hot, sunny day!
And when are middle-aged men going to realize that most women don't like excessive hair! We'd rather see a bald head or a buzz cut than the comb-over or excessively long hair everywhere else, or extra facial hair to make up for it! Please stop trying so hard! Besides, you actually look much younger with a bald head or a short cut on top than you do with a lot of extra hair on the sides or on the back, or worse, a RUG! Younger men are even now going for the bald look or a close cut and it is so attractive, in my humble opinion.That's just my two cents. Take it for what it's worth!
I'm a trustworthy person and a friend to the end with my true friends. Love to laugh, dance, and to just have fun in general! I'm an energetic person when health is in order, and I'm looking forward to a fun-filled summer!

Interests
My dog, the beach, jewelry making, traveling, UNC Basketball, and I also dabble a little in nature photography, but it's been a long time since I've been anywhere nice and different to get any good shots. I'm not a pro by far, but I love to try! I enjoy anything outdoors. Camping, hiking, swimming, walking the beach collecting seashells and shark's teeth, sitting on the beach watching the sun rise and set, hanging out and partying with friends...on the beach, of course! Having good conversations with others on just about any topic, although I try not to discuss religion or politics once I discover we are on different "teams"!
I love a good movie or a good book. I am very energetic, but on a cold, rainy or snowy day, I could sit and watch movie after movie all day long, or read a good book from front to back. Snuggling is also a great thing to do on a stormy day!
Music
Love oldies, especially motown. Also much of the newer POP music, but some of it is lame. I'm more of a per-song music lover than any real specific genre. I hate RAP, as it is not music in my opinion. Call me old-fashioned, but it's just talking to a beat in my humble opinion. Also can't stand head-banging music. If I can't understand the words, what is there to like? But that doesn't mean I like Country music. That's another genre that I like very little of. I listen mostly to 60s and 70s music, and some 80s. Again, just depends on the song. Don't assume I like Pink Floyd or AC/DC just because of the decade! Elvis was the King, and always will be in my heart! There was little he did that I didn't like. I love most of U2's stuff, especially their take on Everlasting Love. Many of the songs I loved over the years were One Hit Wonders! Take on Me by Aha comes to mind, and there are more that I can't put my finger on at the moment. Conquistador was an awesome song too! I'm one of those who can't just listen to a soundtrack. Gotta do the "mixed tape" thing...only on a CD or on my phone.
Movies
Yes, I love them! lol
Too many to mention, but basically like action movies, mystery, drama. Once in a while a Sci-Fi movie or something a little different like Avatar and one of Robin Williams best, but barely talked about films, "What Dreams May Come" (also starring Cuba Gooding, Jr.).
I'm also a huge fan of the old movie, "The Incredible Mr. Limpet"! (Don Knotts)
Idols
Ben Affleck, Brad Pitt, Jude Law, Denzel Washington, Matthew McConaughey, Robert Downey, Jr., and Phil Mickelson are definitely among the hottest!
Great actors include most of the above, plus Jack Nicholson, Sean Connery, and Anthony Hopkins.
and if I were 30 years younger, Josh Hartnett would be my husband! lol
Video Games
Never had time for them, aside from exercising with Wii.
