I grew up in Essex Ma, a small town on the North Shore of Boston. After HS I quickly escaped the home of the fried clam and joined the Navy. Was stationed in Japan on a Small Deep Sea diving and salvage ship that used to bounce all around South East Asia visiting ports and training divers. It was good duty.. looking back on it that is.. when I was a member of the crew we used to call the ship the USS BOHICA (bend over here it comes again) because we always seemed to get screwed.. but sailors like to bitch and moan, its all part of the service. After the Navy I moved back to Boston, went to College and got my BA in International Economics, which I have to this day never used for anything productive. I worked as an Network Admin and IT manager for a dot com start up till it went under, then I started my own biz as an IT consultant.. I got really bored with IT after a couple of years though so I turned my clients over to a friend of mine and moved to Australia where I studied at Flinders Uni in Adelaide and got a Masters of International Relations, and did some teaching.. okay so I guess I've used the degree a little.. but not much. I finished up my degree and moved back to boston in early 2005 and have since been working and traveling. My dream at the moment is to Earn membership in the US State department as a Foriegn Service Officer (diplomat) I passed the 2005 exam but didn't get through the Orals last year. I took the 2006 exam this april and will hopefully start the whole process over again.. it takes forever! Alright.. didn't mean this entry to be such a ramble.. I reckon thats enough about me..
