RIP Nincomputer
So my nincomputer finally went caput. Did you know caput is Tupac backwards. Neato, eh? Annnnnyways, so the dreaded reload has to happen. But no worries, because I have everything backed up onto another drive. I do backups once a week. What a responsible girl I am! *gasp* I even shock myself... I'm very comfortable with computers and can usually handle things. I knew I needed to reload for a while now, but I never did. I would just fix things a bit and keep using it. What a procrastinator. So I tried some experimental fixes last night and finally killed it. Murdered it viciously. So I will try the reload first, before the sledgehammer......
Nocturnal No More
So I am not nocturnal anymore! Wow!!! Ever since I got Cosmo, I have to get up so early to feed him, and clean out his litter box, and play with him. And then I force myself to stay awake and not return to my warm cozy bed with my favorite pink leopard spot blanky. It was so hard to do at first. I was sleeping only 2 or 3 hours. Now I'm up to about 5 and a half. But I really need 8 to 10. Seriously. So you can imagine, I'm one sleeply lil kitten! But I can function remarkably well without that much sleep. So this whole thing is changing my life. It seems like a positive change, so it's all good. Because those vampire hours were making me cranky.
Dog Boy!
This is nothing to do with Cheemo (Cosmo's nickname). I saw the most weird and interesting movie. It starred Nicole Kidman (who I just love) and Robert Downy Jr. It's called "Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus". It is hard to explain it. She is a photographer in a nice, but sort of boring marriage. She meets this guy (Robert D) who has that rare condition where people have hair all over them. Like the dog boy from the circus type of thing. And she is fascinated by him and befriends him. I won't tell you any more, in case you decide to see it. But I thought it was very good! Anybody seen it???
The Day Before
Well, it's Friday. Day before my show. My nails need to be manicured and painted a high-gloss red. And my clothes need to be laid out. Last time, I was in pink, so this time, I think it might be red..... Or not. We'll see what I decide. But I like the make the decision the day before, and have it laid out, because I can be very scatterbrained and hyper before a show. So excited... Lots of my closest friends and fiends are coming out. Will ROCK!!!!
And In Conclusion...
