As you go on in this world, keep looking forward to the future.. to all you might be. Don’t let old mistakes or misfortunes hold you down: learn from them, forgive yourself -- and others -- and move on. Do not be bothered or discouraged by adversity. Instead, meet it as a challenge. Be empowered by the courage it takes you to overcome obstacles. Learn things. Learn something new every day. Be interested in others and what they might teach you. But do not look for yourself in the faces of others. Do not look for who you are in other people’s approval. As far as who you are and who you will become goes -- the answer is always within yourself. Believe in yourself. Follow your heart and your dreams. You -- like everyone else -- will make mistakes. But as long as you are true to the strength within your own heart.. you can never go wrong!

Look at my life. I’m floating like mercury around the earth. My footprints shine with stardust. All because I love you. All because you love me! You rose into my life like a promised sunrise, brightening my days with the light in your eyes. I’ve never been so strong. Now I’m where I belong! Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope. In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world, there is no love for you like mine. Love runs through our families, reaches hearts and lives, connecting distant members over miles and time through memories. Love is that condition in the human spirit so profound that it allows one to survive and, better than that, to thrive with passion, compassion, and style. Love comes to those who still hope although they’ve been disappointed, to those who still believe although they’ve been betrayed, to those who still love although they’ve been hurt before. It’s hard to take chances but sometimes it’s better if you do. If you can imagine it, you can accomplish it. If you can dream it, you can become it. Life is not about what I’ve done, what I should’ve done, what I could’ve done... it’s about what I can do and what I will do. The space between the tears we cry is the laughter that keeps us coming back for more. Happiness does not depend upon getting other people’s approval- it depends upon getting your own approval. Happiness lies in becoming unafraid of change. Happiness is being someone- not something. You’ll be happier thinking your own thoughts than trying to think other people’s thoughts. Develop the ability to get yourself to do what needs doing when it needs to be done- whether you like it or not- and you will find happiness. Happiness can be a secret place- somewhere to go to in your hour of pain, where a moment’s peace can fill your heart. Allow yourself to be yourself-you can never be happy in someone else’s shoes. Get used to a different way of looking at things. A change in perspective brings a whole new world of opportunity. Devote your energy to happiness, energy spent worrying is wasted energy. Sometimes, in order to open your eyes to the possibilities of today, you have to close your eyes on yesterday. Don’t base your happiness for future on some happiness in the distant past. Learn to love the present. Unhappiness comes from constantly debating the outcomes of things that can’t possibly be controlled. Next time you feel the door to happiness has closed before you, remember it has only done that in order that another door to other happiness can open. There are two kinds of truths. There is the truth that is acceptable to you, and the truth that is acceptable to liars. Don’t blame the past for making you unhappy, nor set conditions for future happiness. Stop and look around you. This is your life.
