So the shit hit the fan last week.

This teacher I mentioned a couple of blogs ago (in this thread), is up to her tricks again, twice in one week.

 

First she may have lost 5 thermometers and tries to blame us when she didn't do her job properly as laid out by our science classroom guidelines.

Second, instead of asking for something she needed, she goes in to a room, helps herself to what she thought she wanted, but even though it wasn't the right stuff, used it all regardless.

When the bottle of this stuff is realised missing, my mum (senior technician at the school) asks the teacher if she took it, who says no, but lo and behold, there it is in her classroom that no one else uses.

 

That has not gone down well at all....

 

 

So yesterday at work I was asked to help by the premises manager to carry some stuff down from the third floor of this building to outside.

Out of him and his three staff he only had one guy helping me carry these 13 heavy sacks, even though it turned out he and the other two could've helped as they had nothing else to do.

K, so we start taking these bags to the agreed drop off point, when this guy (Ian)  suddenly changes his mind and wants them taken somewhere else, further away and smaller. He says because they're a fire hazard (outside, I think not).

So I talk to Rosie (his second in command) to make a compromise, whereby we move all 13 to the original place first, then from there to where he wants them. But no, apparently the kids are going to play with them so he doesn't want them there.

I know this is a pile of shit and that he is talking out of his ass, so I go talk to his boss, who agrees they should stay in the original place.

He gets pissed off with me and stops the guy who was helping, from helping.

He is a serious Dickhead, his employees don't like him, and no one else in the school does either. But only since he's got all this power, he used to be a nice bloke.

What really annoys everyone though, is that he constantly gets away with it because his manager doesn't stand up to him for some unknown reason.

 

Anyways, that was far too long, sorry....

Time - two week period

Person - Hated teacher #2

Story - 

With no exaggeration, the teacher I'm talking about here is the most useless teacher and one of the most horrible people I have ever met.

So she gets told this apparently by one of her student's sister at a parents evening and doesn't take to kindly to it (it really is true though). Because of this, she refuses to teach the student in question and throws her out of all her lessons.

Side notes;

• she already throws out at least 1 kid in her lessons anyway. Sometimes 3 or 4
• Most lessons she spends 10-20 minutes not even in the classroom (they're 50 minute lessons)
• She's told me once she doesn't even want to be in the class
• She has no control over her classes and doesn't care, all the kids hate her
• She constantly talks back and over her boss when he's trying to help her.

Now, back to the point. Because of the above mentioned problem along with the bullet points, there is a meeting involving her and two of her higher ups. Things don't go her way, so she feigns illness and just doesn't turn up for two weeks.

How she got a job as a teacher I'll never know. How she keeps her job, I'll also never know.

You know when you want to blog something, but you're an air headed zombie like me? Okay, maybe not. But because that's what I am, I'm gonna blog about stuff that happens at work that makes me laugh. So explanation done, on to the story. Place - Inside Stairwell Time - Lunch People involved - 1 x generally hated (amongst students) female teacher, many x students. Background info - Every lunchtime the kids sit on the stairs and in the hallway and get in everyone's way basically. The event - Said teacher walking up stairs, student pushes another student into teacher, nearly making her fall down the stairs. Teacher goes ballistic, kids plead innocent, was a joke they say. Teacher promises to have them banned from being there at lunch. Much mirth for me
