Poeple remember this day only for the awful acts that were taken on this country. Well for me it means a bit more than that... I know what happened to the thousands of people was horrible and my thoughts and prayers went to their families as well. On this day 32 years ago my parents were wed. Shortly before I came in to this world..... years passed and on this day 2 years ago, while the rest of the world was mourning for the loss of lives... I was standing at my father's side, in the hospital mourning for the lost time caused by stubborn memories of a hurtful past just hoping for more time. Of all days he made a turn for the worse on the 30th anniversary of his marraige to my mother.... unfortunatly dying 2 days later holding my hand looking into my eyes at the early age of 54..... He may not have died that day... but only because he held on waiting for his only other child to be by his side..... He got too weak to wait any longer and took his last breath 2 days later..... Just another rememberance of a different sort......
