Vampire Ra's blog: "Vampire 101"

created on 09/14/2006  |  http://fubar.com/vampire-101/b392
Misconception: Vampires are undead; are corpses; are immortal. Truth: Real life vampires are normal, every-day people from ALL walks of life, race, background, religion who work normal jobs, have normal families and live normal lives. They are neither immortal, nor all-powerful. Misconception: Vampires can not enter sunlight; are harmed/killed by running water, crosses and garlic; live in coffins, etc. Truth: Real life vampires may be light sensitive, but will not burst into flame anymore then anyone else; might be afraid of water but are not harmed by it; have no issue with holy symbols nor food items; and live in normal homes like everyone else. Misconception: Vampires are evil; vampires are affiliated with Satan, the Devil, or some other evil lord/master/demon Truth: Vampires are normal people and come from every religion and faith on the planet and have as much potential to be a good person as they have to be a bad person the way everyone else does. Vampirism is a medical condition and has NOTHING to do with one's religion and DOES NOT mean a person is automatically evil. Misconception: Vampires are all kids dressing up in black; are "Goths"; are just "acting out" or want to be "different" Truth: Real life Vampires are people of adult age and up (the condition tends to remain dormant until after puberty is complete). They are people of all clothing tastes and do not engage in vampirism to be "cool." Vampirism has nothing to do with what clothing you wear or what your tastes in music are. Vampirism is a medical condition and does not make a person "special" or "better". Yes, there are kids out there who dress up like characters from books, but they're engaging in dress up; real vampires are just trying to live their lives and that has nothing to do with fictional books, movies, or characters. Misconception: Vampires have mental illness and are delusional for thinking they're something fictional. Truth: Real vampires aren't anything like their silly, fictional counterparts except that they require small amounts of blood as a supplement to their diet. Real vampires don't think they are, or act like they are, or try to be like their fictional counterparts. It is VERY much like a diabetic who requires insulin to remain healthy; a real vampiric person simply requires small amounts of blood to remain healthy. Sure, a real vampiric person can suffer from a mental illness just like anyone else on the planet, but to be a vampiric person does NOT automatically make them "crazy" or "delusional" any more then a person suffering from other medical conditions. Misconception: Vampires are just anemic; vampires just have Porphyria. Truth: Anemia is in NO WAY helped or overcome through the ingestion of blood. Anemics need iron in it's raw state (generally through iron pill supplements or through iron injected via IV) as iron is a main component for hemoglobin (the main part of red blood cells). Red blood cells are responsible for delivering oxygen through the body and without enough red blood cells, a person lacks enough oxygen. Iron is stored the Bone Marrow where red blood cells are produced. Drinking blood would in no way give the needed iron and would be expelled, unprocessed, by the kidneys. Porphyria is a name for six separate conditions and despite being associated historically with vampirism, it has nothing to do with it. "Porphyria victims don't crave blood. Drinking blood will not alleviate their symptoms, nor has there ever been a general belief that it would. The blood chemicals porphyria victims need do not survive digestion." Misconception: Vampires are/think they are "supernatural"; vampires are/think they are not human; vampires are/think they are "better" then normal people Truth: Real life Vampires ARE HUMAN. They are NOT supernatural. Vampirism is a medical condition. It does not make a person special, better, or "more" then anyone else. It's just a difference like any other health problem people the world over suffer from. (Be it diagnosed or undiagnosed and understood or not understood. The list of medical conditions for which doctors and scientists actually understand is infinitesimal compared to those they do not, so it is not hard to accept that there are health concerns that are not yet explainable) Misconception: Vampires attack people to steal their blood; kill people; are violent and hostile. Truth: Real life vampiric people use volunteer, willing donors; engage in safety via blood tests, sterile tools and safe and sane bloodletting practices. We're talking small amounts - a mouthful or two - and only under safe conditions. Real vampiric people will do everything possible to minimize pain and scaring for the donor and do not compel anyone to donate their blood to them. Failing accessibility of a donor, many vampiric people will use animal blood obtained from butchers (kosher if possible), generally in the form of beef blood. Misconception: Drinking blood is just an addition - not a need. Truth: Yes, there are some people who are blood fetishists. They gain pleasure from the consumption of blood (mainly in sexual situations). There are also people who enjoy the "dark and morbid" overtones that modern fictional vampirism embraces. Real vampiric people do not drink blood because they are blood junkies, they do so because they lack something in their physical/spiritual make up and can only fulfill it through the ingestion of blood. For these people, it's not about a high, or a rush, or for fun, it's about maintaining health. The consumption of blood is used to regulate the real vampire's body the same way that a diabetic uses insulin to regulate their blood sugar levels. When a vampiric person ceases to drink blood, they become ill and exhibit signs of immune system damage and become prone to catch viruses and bacterial infections. Real Vampires do not die from lack of blood, but they will wither and potentially die from secondary effects as a result of ceasing blood ingestion.

THE PATH

Photobucket WHEN LOVE HINDERS IN ANGELS GRACE AND THE WORLD GROWS COLD TO EYES DESPAIR, ALAS THE HEART GREW HALLOW AND THE ANGEL FELL INTO DARKNESS. CONSUMED BY PAIN AND LOSS THE WORLD WAS A VAST PIT. Photobucket YEARS PASS AND NO CAUSE CHAMPIONED, THE ANGEL WALKED A ROAD SOULESS AND SOLITARY. AMONST THE CITIES AND CROWDS THERE WAS STILL NOTHING TO THE WORLD. THE ANGEL HAD FALLEN AND WAS LEFT TO AWAIT PERGATORY. Photobucket WHEN ALAS BEFORE HIM CAME A GLIMERING MUSE. SHE THUS TOOK HIM AND INSPIRED HIM, AND LIFTED HIM ON HIGH. FINALLY HE HAD FOUND SOMETHING RIGHT IN THE WORLD. WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD AND FILLED HIM WITH THE LOVE AND FAITH THAT WAS MENT TO BE. Photobucket ALAS THE ANGEL WAS LIFTED BACK ONTO THE PATH OF THE RIGHTOUS AND LONG AS HIS MUSE WAS THERE COULD NEVER SEE THE DARKNESS OF THE WORLD AGAIN. INSTED HOPE AND JOY, THE SPLENDERS OF HEAVEN. THOUGH HE HAD FALLEN THERE IS A PLACE FOR THEM IN THE GRAND PICTURE OF LIFE. ................................................................... NOT MY BEST WRITING BUT BEEN SO LONG. POINT MEARLY BEING THAT ONE PERSON CAN IMPACT A LIFE GOOD OR BAD. AND I HAVE THE ONE PERSON WHO HAS IMPACTED MY LIFE THE MOST. SHE MEANS THE WORLD TO ME. AND PERHAPS WITH THIS PROFECT PIECE SHE KNOWS WHY. I LOVE HER AND HOPE TO HAVE AND CHERISH HER FOREVER.

Strength of the dark

The darkness tells a sensuous story Speaking to us in soft whispers A glow radiates from our hearts as we melt into one another The sultry smell of lust is in the air The darkness begins to learn our secrets As we expose ourselves and explore Our reflection dances in the shadows Hands search hungrily Eyes stare wildly The darkness knows the meaning of our passionate embrace Our bodies writhe as we fill the empty room with sounds of pleasure In the aftermath we lay in a sea of blackness The moment we became one is written on the walls of our soul The love between us is bound by the power of darkness

Lament of a Dom

We lay glistening, In the crystals. Under a lava sky. Our moist salt mingles. As I brush sand from your eyes. My mouth suckles, Your hard nipple. Teeth pressure with soft bites. We hear music. From the ocean. Waves beat to your sighs. My hand lingers, In smooth moistness. Like a finger picked guitar. And you vibrate to my stroking. As my song finds your heart. My voice fills you. With its melody. As my words brush your ear. Soft con calore leaves you wanting. As my song brings you near. Your wrists bound, By my heartstrings. Feels the bite of my song. And I play you so deftly. Till you cry from the dawn. You can feel me. Deep within you. As my song drives you on. And its strength is the phallus. I have you impaled upon. You feel it building. Almost painful. Yet, the pleasure sings like notes. Of this song to an ending. You had never known before. My song brings you. To its plateau. In Climatic burning fire. As our bodies die still wanting. Just to go one note higher. Then we lay their, At songs ending. Yet the notes linger on. A soft echo in our lips. As we brush each others poem. Then I play you. Yet another, more ravenous song. Till you lay their, spent and peaceful In the circle of my home.

Oral

Cradled between your tender thighs I lift you to my mouth. The abundance of your wetness greets me and my mouth overflows with your warm essence. Your sweet taste is on my tongue and your fragrance delights my senses. No gentle lick this visit. No bashful cautious approach For I wish to consume you. Push against my hungry mouth As the tip of my tongue slides up the slippery furrow that welcomes me between rows of delicate pink petals. Thrust against my generous tongue. Show me the power of your desire for my oral caress. My exploring tongue lifts the hood and finds your smooth firm pearl. You squeal in that unique way, signaling that I have found your special spot. I harden in response. My jaws protests what my open mouth provides but I am unrelenting in my gift, intent only on your fulfillment. I feel your body tense, and you are quiet now... Concentrating... bearing down. Soon now my love, ecstasy approaches. You push hard and fast against my tongue, shameless in using me and I so willingly comply until you cry out... and in your satisfaction, I will find mine, But mine will be the greater.

Happy Samhain

Close your eyes Dear cherubine Sleep tight Naughty muse Deep below your dreams with in the endless realms of your entombed emotions My insane watching eye Will stare through your bones As you fall in helpless forfeit Into the glance of my preternatural eyes I will whisper upon wind And Imprison you with vampyre kiss As you shreds lustful chants Beneath the colonnades of your fear

Kiss

Your tongue burns my cool skin like molten flame, As you pierce my soul I silently scream your name, I kiss your lips and taste your bloodied soul, Feel the blood engorge us and make our love whole, You come to me silently on wings of blackest night, Consuming my heart with your dark lover's bite. Joyously my blood gushes forth and splashes your face, As my fevered body you now so passionately embrace, My soul sings your black desires in endless refrain, My dark angel lover you make pleasure such sweet pain.

Elixer of Life

Nothing else matters anymore, It's all about the one. The one thing that gives life, Or can even take it away. Tasting and craving it, Wanting and needing it. Every vein in my body Tells me to find it, drink it. I listen to it, Dreaming of the taste. There, now, the prey comes, Startled by my presence. A smile, a polite apology. A smile in reply, a quick movement. It's in my mouth now, Flowing down my throat in Pure ecstasy. Nothing else matters, The body falling to the ground. Now that I have it, I am alive again Forever wanting more.

Alone

Everyday is full of more wishing, and hoping For someone to listen and want to listen To have that person belong in your world All I have is loneliness, that hurts everyday Watching everyone have that one to care for I've gone through to much pain to know truth The pain took over Letting the blood from the sliver blade fall Watching the others around just stare And not care Wanting just one to grab you by the hand Telling you not to Because your loved Soon, the loneliness takes over And all alone in the world Is what I am Just waiting and wishing everyday

Dark love song

Come moonbathe with me, my pale memory-- touch skin to frigid stone. Hush-- let the raindrops intone the lullaby. Sink back down, far from harm; subside and gaze into the cavernous sky caught-- in my automatic arms. When you watched the bloody sky you avoided the look in my eyes. The moon was not for you: deep in the summer's decay, you preferred the gaudy death throes of the day-- but when the shadow fingers twined like psychedelic vines up the flat grantie, you had to face me. The end is near. Come sing with me, my pale memory-- swim that stale symphony. By choice, you are so shallow as a whole, that as you founder in the void, you won't understand what I stole. If there is a god, he hates me to weave this pinpricked belveteen sky; as though they'll never see you again, there are fears in my eyes; for if your sunset flees my love, he has forsaken us. His sun is dead; I killed him with my satin touch, stain tainted his setting. We haven't the strength to ignite the blackness, or dissolve in vitriol. We hope, but in this dark, there is no light to redeem ourselves-- in the end, there is no meaning to life. You let me fly awhile; I'm but a man-child. That cold fatemonger, stripped of tactful excuses, whoring sex's uses and abuses, let me soar awhile; I'm but a man-child, smoking out the window, tapping ashes in the night, in the nieghbor's house a white light-- through a red curtain; Everything is an end.
