Since the moment he clawed his way into this world Lil’ Rascal has been interested in music. If it has a beat he can dig it, although it has been rumored that he enjoys beat-less music as well. Growing up in the God forsaken dry lake beds around Barstow, California left him little to do but focus on the Classical works of Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Schumann and chase the occasional lizard. In 1999 he was introduced to his first taste of EDM through a Hybrid CD. That first time he heard the soothing beats he simply fell in love. It’s no surprise though, because he hears a connection between EDM and Classical and has likened the DJ to Orchestral Conductors on more than one occasion.

If life were a record store you’d find Lil’ Rascal in the Progressive trance aisle, lost in the transitions between tracks.

While not many people outside of his family and friends know much about his music he continues to spin on. Practicing late into the night and sometimes early morning, he searches for the DJ‘s Holy Grail, The Perfect Set.
