My favorite past times are listening to music, going semi-rough camping, playing horse shoes, darts, and shooting pool. I love nature walks and taking the time to enjoy the trees, beach or whereever I am. I enjoy meeting new people and love the varied types of personalities that exist in our world.
I am a Desert Storm veteran and I support our troops being in Iraq. I support the reason we invaded and removed Saddam from power. Also, remember, the first war never really ended, it was a cease fire in which Saddam violated the agreements of many times. I only wish our media, and politicians were not so biased. There is more to the story than most people are aware of, and yes Virginia, there are good things happening in Iraq.
I now work for a telecommunications company providing 2nd level support on our network equipment. It is amazing that not very long ago a telephone copper wire was high tech. Now we can send over 6 1/2 million phone calls down a fiber about the size of a strand of hair.
I was raised in a country environment, and I rode bulls on my high school rodeo team. My favorite singer as a young man was Hank Williams Sr. But soon after graduation I was turned onto Rock and Roll by a very dear friend who turned me on to Lynyrd Skynyrd. That was a turning point in my life and I have been a rocker since. My heart however is in deep old style blues.
I love drinking German beer. Some of my favorites are Franziskaner Hefe Weizen; Erdinger Dunkel Weizen; and Erdinger Pikantis. After drinking a beer from a brewery that has been in business since the 1500's, a Bud or Coors just don't cut it except as a Gatorade substitute when working. A great Texas made beer is St. Arnolds, they brew in the same manner as the German purity laws state.
I am a self reliant type person, and keep those I trust very close. I believe in good old country morals. I do not have any time for liars, thieves, and cheaters. I have a lot of aquaintances, and very few "friends". The friends I do have I hold very dear. I am an open and honest person, that sometimes makes it easy for people to attempt to take advantage of me. I am what you see, if you do not like what you see, it is ok with me. But I am not going to try to change myself to please others. If you want to be my friend, I will accept all requests. But I am not a friend collector. I will delete any friends that like to cause drama. This site is something my wife and I share and do not have time for immaturity.

I like movies and books by Stephen King. My favorite book by him is "The Stand" However my favorite story is "The long Walk". The rules are simple - If you walk too slow, you get a warning, 4 warnings and you are shot. My favorite movie and book combinations by Stephen King are "The Stand" and "Firestarter". The book and movie combination that really ticks me off is "Cujo". The book is more from the dogs point of view, while the movie makes him seem crazy.
One of my other other favorite authors is Issac Asimov. I love his Robots series. It is amazing how much he wrote almost 50 years ago that has come to pass for real. He truly had a gift for knowing the evolution of technology.
I enjoy live concerts of all types. All types of music are great live. I enjoy the Polka music while having a beer at my favorite German resturant, I enjoy Blues in small venues. But I really enjoy being in the pit at heavy metal shows.
I enjoy sitting in my folding chair out in the water on lake shoulder high, at 3AM and looking at the stars. The water is calm, and everyone is asleep, that is probably the most relaxing time I can have.
I am a very sexual person, I have very few limits and I do not judge other peoples likes or fantasies. I truly would like to try as many different things as I can, and those I like try again.
