In the quiet ramblings of the night the winds still themselves to the echoes of the heart beats of your fear.... Drumming like the pounding of a million shields in agonizing thundering march into desolate battle.... The calm of the storm like a dark shrouded cloak raising itself like the tattered banners of a wicked and ceaseless squeal... And shallowed breaths and thundering pulses in quivers and aches surrounded by clutched trembling hands do you feel... And alas the final question you will ask will befall your ache in the numbing fog of the depth of your bewildered mind and that deep gravelly whisper will trample it with the mere echoed, "One more time" Then in your firey surrender you will reach to clutch with nails digging in like a cat fighting to stay upon the slickest of limbs.... And at that point you will know in the darkest depths of your soul when the yearning has passed and the mindless fog swirls in silent echoes of your thoughts...if you...are Mine...
You know...those were the quiet ramblings of a man...a quiet whisper of a dream in the wind...but the harsh and cold reality is...I am a single father of three children....and in becoming such I signed custody papers to accept it....and in doing so...I signed my life away...I dont begrudge my children and I would do it over the same...in a world filled with people that give you the thumbs up and say hey I respect you for doing it...it seems the forgotten has occurred that there was an actual man that lived in the shell of what stands before them...a man who has a heart and a soul and wants to love and share it...again...I dont want to come across as complaining because I have three wonderful children....perhaps I am more wondering...why it is like that...I dont get it...and maybe my problem is looking....still believing there is hope....I am showing my children that even when things seem rough there is hope....and to never give in and never give up....but the journey is one I have had...and will have to face alone it seems...for my children I will make it....but for the man that peeked out and wrote that little diddy up there....I guess as a wine he will be bottled...and I just hope...that one day...it will be worth uncorking....or at least....I can remember where the bottle lays...I dont know...but for my art I have made my choice and I will stick with it...and the good that comes out of three lives is gonna worth trading for the loss of part of one I suppose...maybe one day fate will smile...but if it doesnt...I still can hold my head high...
