I'm 21, although sometimes my body feels like it's going on 50 or so. Fuck 'Sweet Home Alabama.' Sweet Home Atlanta bitch. I reside on the southside. It's not the greatest place in the world.. But it's the place I call home.
I don't have many friends these days. I have a lot of 'acquaintances.' The friends I do have, I cherish. Good friends are hard to come by.
I've been let down, a lot. And I've let down a lot. All we can do in this life is change, and ask forgiveness. If someone can't forgive you for any-single-thing, they aren't worth your time, nor were they ever.
I try to do good. But sometimes I fuck up.
I try to think of others first. But sometimes I don't know what comes over me.
I'm a people person. So if you don't like me, then fuck you. I don't really give a shit what people think about me. I know who I am. I pride myself in other peoples joy. Making people smile is the light of my day. But if I, possibly, get pushed to the point of being angry, I'm not such a cool mo-fo.
Personally I think people are stupid. Though a person can be smart. People are still stupid. And mean people suck. I've been told I'm too nice. But I can't change who I am.
I'm trying to get my life back on track at the moment. Although it's not going quite the way I'd like it to.
Personal notes and connotations:
Everything I ever really need to know, I learned in Kindergarten. I have countless moments of grief, yet so many more moments of joy. When life's going good, there's always a catch. When life gives you lemons, you paint that shit gold. If I had never loved, I never would have cried. Truth and justice are attributes, qualities, characteristics that are so underrated in our society. I can wear anything, anytime, or the same thing, all the time. A crime worse than actual acts of evil, is indifference. We live in a world where the war on terrorism is more dangerous than terrorism itself. "If a bastard likes you, you feel special. If a nice guy likes you, who cares?"
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Because your character is what you really are. While your reputation is merely what others think you are.
