Hi, my name is Heather Hart. If you are a parent that knows how it feels to be in a situation where you could loose your child, then please read. Or if you are a friend or know someone in the situation I am in myself please take a moment and listen.


My ex husband is trying to take full custody of our daughter. Hayleigh is a bright girl not to mention she is a mommys girl. The problem is, her father has been throwing money at his lawyer left and right. He has the kind of money I wish I could have and unfortunately I dont. The fact that he knows my daughter does not want to live with him is what completely floored me. Hayleigh wants nothing more than to attend her kindergarten class that she has already started. She is joining daisy girl scouts and wants to play sports this year. However, this is not the problem. The problem is that we have already been in front of the judge and he gave me another 3 weeks to find counsel. He referred me to the Pennsylvania Bar Association who in turn referred me to an amazing lawyer. This woman can win the case hands down. She has made me a deal on the retainer fee, which is usually a bit higher than the $2000 she is asking me for. Now for the big problem... I am a single mother who gets no child support (from a man that makes 4 times the amount I do), I have worked 2 jobs to support me and my daughter with no help from anyone including the state and by myself was only able to get $500 of the initial $2000. I know I am not the only person who is struggling with hard times and financial difficulties…. But I am thinking that if anyone out there at all cares to help a person in need even if it was only a few dollars at the moment that I would be able to stand on my own two feet against this man. I need your help…. Please I am asking…. Even if it is a couple of dollars, anything at would be a blessing right now! I have until September 18th @ Noon to come up with the money!!!
