Well so much for cancer free, I went back for my biopsy results Sept. 25th only to learn the biopsies show disease is present and now we know the cancer has spread to my neck. I have to wonder if this nightmare will ever end or if maybe this is just the beginning. I guess there are no promises in life, but I hope you'll all live life to the fullest, and in some way I hope to remind people just how short life can be. Always take time to smell the roses along the way. I could also use as many prayers as I can get!
UPDATE as of 11-8-08: I had great news yesterday, as my terminal cancer isn't considered terminal now... doc says I should live for years and years. 2 down and 4 more actual chemo visits over the next 6 weeks to take care of the cancerous cells that are left. No tumors were found this time!!! Yippee! Thanks to all for all your prayers... somebody was upstairs listening!
Yes, Cancer is also my Zodiac Sign... Go figure? I'm just here to meet new friends, NOT dating at this time and have no intensions of doing so. Special thanks to those true fubar friends that remain there thru the rough times as well!!! Anyways... I'm pretty laid back and get along with most (decent) people. If you'd like to know more... just ask!
Inside Your Mind
If I could see inside your mind,
I wonder just what I might find.
White walls and straight jackets,
Wooden shelves and metal brackets.
Lipstick on your night stand,
A laser light show or a rock band.
Mellow sounds drowning tears,
Dillusional thoughts, your worst fears.
A kiss from a memorable love,
Spirits long passed and now above,
A photo etched deep within,
Friends, associates or maybe kin.
Your favorite colors spinning clockwise,
A cheeseburger and french fries.
A midnight summer dream,
Morning coffee with a spoon of cream.
Sadness invading an urge to smile,
Empathetic shoes walking a mile.
Generosity of your kind being,
Ten personalities fastly fleeing.
I wish I could trade for just a day,
See what your brain has to say.
I'd enter fast to explore inside,
Nothing else for you to hide.
