I am "that girl". The girl who is the hopeless romantic... the girl who thinks love might be right around the corner...the girl who no matter how she's been broken wants to think that there is good in the next person she meets...the girl who wants to belong to one man. That man needs to fill a large pair of shoes. He needs to be proud of what he does for a living, does for fun, does for himself and what he does for his woman. He needs to be honest, caring, open, smart, funny and able to make me feel like I don't always have to be "The Boss".

I am a full time Mom to three teens. It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it.
I love camping, fishing, sitting out under the stars or any other outdoor activity that doesn't induce sweating. :) I'm just starting to expose my kids to dirt bike riding. What a blast!
I love anything to do with water! Boating, skiing, sunning, floating, etc... Take me to the lake and I am the happiest girl in the world.
I am a sucker for good food. If you feed me you better make sure it's bad stuff. If not, you'll find me camped on your doorstep looking for more. :)
Oh yeah...did i say HOCKEY? I am a hockey nut! Go Kings Go!

My Mom, Dad and Step-Father are my idols. They have all contributed such amazing things to my life. I would not be the woman I am today without each of them contributing lessons, kindness, love, understanding and tolerance.
My kids are my idols too. They are teaching me how to be patient, understanding, loving and compromise like I never thought possible.
My male idol is a man who can stand by my side (slightly in front of me) and ride out the rest of this amazing life journey. A man who can laugh, play, cry, protect my kids and I when needed and allow me to pamper him in exchange. Is he out there? I think he is.

Almost any horror movie. I like to watch them while covering my eyes with my hands. Of course, I am always peeking between my fingers. :)
I'm also a sappy, crying fool over any scene that displays emotions. My kids sit and wait for the tears to roll down my cheek and then bust out in laughter. It's a pretty easy way to pull me out of the sniffles. How can you cry when three people are laughing at you? It's tough...try it and see if you can keep crying. :)
