she looks at the image of herself in the mirror, young enough to feel that she has a life time ahead of her, but old enough to know that cinderella was just a fairy tale. Tears flow down against her pale white cheeks, from wrong paths that she has gone down, she dries them, reminding herself of the new path she is ready to walk. Dark long hair falls around her face, a symbol of change. Her dark brown eyes look serious, yet they are full of emotion. she feels weak, yet strong at the same time. Weak because she is tired, tired from the parts of her life where she feels she has no control. Strong because she has been through so much, because she never let life crush her sense of self. she feels the beginnings of being alone in this big world, a knowing sense that she can only become stronger...this desire, that carries her through each day helping her to see the Light ahead of her, she is determined.
