After 10 years of owning one, I finally broke a Galaxy via dropping it. So I outright bought another Galaxy phone. I have 7 months to go before an upgrade, so should I wait and upgrade when this one dies, or just upgrade to something much better and keep the one i bought as a backup?

The only Con of upgrading is the "lease" on the phone. If I don't upgrade, my bill drops by almost 40%.
