Rewind it back countless times in my mind,
Take a look and then you’ll see.
The treasure was lost, nothing left to be found,
No one even remembers me.
The light you saw, was nothing more than a blanket,
To shelter me from the truth.
A tool to build, this false life of regret,
I feel like I’m breaking loose.
