in my mind, the world of rap has to VERY underrated and unappreciated artists that deserve more credit than what they get.
The 1st artist in this mumm is Common.
Common is a poet in the truest sense of the word and critics(along with myself) say that the masterfully created genius that ALL of his abums are will not be seen for what they truly are until he has died...
The 2nd artist in this mumm is Brotha Lynch Hung
Brotha Lynch has been making albums since the late '80s and they all follow the same path for the most part. Brotha Lynch glamorizes ultra-violence at a level that Charles Manson say, "wow. this dude is fucked up!" Brotha Lynch's lyrics are about mass murder, cannibalisim, incest and terror. in the terms of a "hardcore" rapper he is an elite veteran that will have a steady following of fans(including myself).
So who is the most underrated?
