| I'll try to make this short, but I'm a little mad about this. Today, my son and I went to a Cancer raising event for the local firefighters at a park. Tons of people there, it's in a park not too far from the house. I found someones wallet in the soccer field, opened it, saw credit cards, $420 thing in cash and the drivers license of the guy it belonged to. He lived about a block away from me. I returned it with nothing missing, when to the door with my son and had my son, 3 years old, hand it to the guy. He looked straight at the cash, looked at me, rub my boys hair for a second, said "I didn't know I lost it" and walked away and closed the door. No thanks, no nothing. Right thing in my book to do by giving it back, but a little pissed about the thank you part, or lack there of. Any thoughts or am I just wrong for thinking I should have gotten a thanks? |
