I've never written a blog before. EVER. So everyone please bear with me as I get going & learn. To begin, I'll say that this blog will probably be one of the most random blogs ever, & include just about any topic on any given day. However, some topics will probably creep into this blog more than others. Those topics will include quantum physics, aliens, ancient history, working from home, some of my creative writing, and the invention/patent process. As I get more comfortable in the blogging process, each of those topics will more than likely be 'spun off' into their own blog. But for now, this blog literally will be about anything random that strikes my mood.
Today's blog will be an introduction of who I am, where I'm 'at' right now, and what I'm thinking right now about my life & where I'm heading. So let me get to it. My name is Alan Payne. I am back in CA near my family again, after 13 years away, spent in IL. There are a variety of topics I'm not only interested in, but have researched or worked on extensively for quite a while. It's only just now that I'm really wanting to not only help people learn some of the things I've learned, but to also take some of my knowledge to the 'next level' by taking direction from those further along in those areas than I am.
Right now, I am researching several things. I'm in the middle of several 'projects' that actually have me pretty stretched thin. These include researching the patent process so I can create a prototype of an invention idea I have, and protect it...research on SEVERAL extensive & deep topics for my very first non-fiction Novel...and more specifically, HOW, & WHAT to do, to create a home-based, or internet-based business...which is extremely confusing. This is pretty personal, but I've been 'poor' & struggled my entire life. But at 40 years old, it is WAY past time that I MAKE something happen with my deeams. My entire adult life has been spent sacrificing for others...which I've always done with a glad heart. I love, or have loved them all...but my dreams took a back seat, so-to-speak. Oh well. I'm a 'late bloomer', I think.
For the last 15 years, I've been an Industrial Painter by trade; powder coating & liquid paint. Being ADHD, it's been an awesome career, & place to put my excess energy. However, at the moment I am not working due to an accident I had at work back in August. I'm on disability right now, but it doesn't look as though I'll be brought back to the company when released back to work. So as a result, I'll either have to find a new 'punch in/punch out' time clock job, or be positioning myself to create my own income. So, to that respect, I'm open to suggestions, knowledge, a mentor that can help guide me in certain areas, and more. Though computer literate and familiar with the web/internet, I'm more of a personable 'people person' than a computer person, and I haven't 'lived' online, or with my face in my tablet or phone. As a result of that, I feel like I'm 'behind' when it comes to many of today's connectivity and 'always online' society. But I digress.
To finish this post tonight, I just want to say that there will be a new post EVERY SINGLE DAY. I really hope to gain friends & readers in this community, and expand both my knowledge and my earning power.
