Why is that such a bad idea?

It keeps me aware

Not safe by any means

But at least focussed on my own safety

So base and primal

Such a clear path

So why do I still see trust as a goal

Dr Phil would say that I don't trust myself

And he would be right on a surface level

But go below and it really just means

That I never learned what it was in the first place

The first thing I learned was the abandonment of trust
