Ironically, this is probably going to be the first Thanksgiving I am going to enjoy since I have been back from Iraq. Last Year, was kind of on a down beat note considering I had recently gotten fired by former employer prior to again Ironically 2 days before Veteran's Day(A blessing in its self not having to work with a management made of cowardly and self serving assholes) .
There are a lot things to be thankful for :
I still have my health.
I still can think for myself.
I have new job with a good company, making decent money.
I have my own place to live. Always room for improvements but those will come in time.
I have my family, my sons, and my friends.
I have faith that things will work out in the end and for the best.
I have been blessed with Gifts and challenges from God
and it has given me a rich life that money can not buy.
I am in America, the land of the free because it is the home of the brave.
While I might be in an endless fruitless chase in the pursuit of Happiness,
I am still kicking it and running my own pace my own way...
God's Peace and Blessing to each of you during this time of Thanks.
