You can't tag the person who tagged you. 1. I truly enjoy getting tattoos. The pain is secondary. I love watching the ink form into a design in my skin. To watch the bare canvas develop into permanent decor. 2. Deathly afraid of needles. Refer to #1. I don't get it either. I turn into a total sissy bitch when it comes to getting blood drawn or getting a shot, but have no problem getting inked. 3. A deep intense red is my absolute favorite color. I surround myself with it. I find it soothing. 4. I entirely hate how women expect you to 'just knoooow' shit. I don't expect this, why do so many women? I cannot read minds, tell me what you are thinking. Otherwise you provoke me to assume shit...and nobody likes that. Say what you mean and mean what you say dammit! 5. Guilty pleasure- glass bottle of ice cold Orange Sunkist on a hot summer day. Momentary Utopia. 6. I never had freckles until I gave birth to a redhead. Granted, hers are much worse than mine. But what the hell? Ginger by osmosis? Now in the summer they invade my skin. 7. Most people cannot be fence sitters about me. You either adore me or abhor me. I'm okay with that. Makes it easier to find the ones that matter. 8. I believe in soulmates 100%. Not just one, I believe in a variety of soulmates. Sound flaky? So be it. I think that certain people fit your soul like puzzle pieces. Some may be as lover, as friend, as family. In my mind a soulmate is not just that one you search for to live happily ever after, but rather the ones you cannot be without. The ones that make the puzzle complete. 9. I love the blues. Teh blues give me teh happiez. Mellows me. 10. I need to make others smile. There's my contribution to the world. I will make a total ass of myself if I can turn your day around for even two seconds. Life is miserable enough, make the best of it. 11. Random Acts Of Kindness are a necessity. Commit yourself to one RAOK a day and tell me it doesn't change your life. The littlest things can sometimes make such a HUGE differences for others. 12. 12 is my lucky number. The privileged know which one. 2- I battle insomnia...guess how I found Fubar?LOL I also deal with night terrors since childhood. But give me some cheesy 80's horror movies and I'll sleep peacefully. Freddy has been the man in my dreams for as long as I can recall. Majoring in Psych helped me understand this better, but it's still weird. 3- The smell of a sweaty man doesn't skeeve me out. It comforts me. My dad has always done hard physical labor, and he was a sweaty stinky mess when he'd get home. First thing he would do when he got home is hug me. So that smell (sweat and cologne) is locked in my olfactory memory as a comfort. Again, sweat & cologne, NOT flat-out B.O. (Ewwww)Either way, tell me that shit ain't weird! 4- I tend bar, but not so much a drinker. Maybe it's weird or maybe it just makes a lot of sense. *shrugs* 5- I've worn thick chunky heels since I was 12. Boots, sandals, clogs, you name it. Every. Fuckin. Day. I'm more comfortable in them than any other shoe. If I wear flat shoes I have sealegs. Yet I can walk around barefoot anywhere with no problem. 6- I'm a funny size. Too short to be tall, too tall to be really short. Not quite average...hence the running joke about 'de Amazon Midget'. 7- To this day I don't know how to accept a compliment. Too many years being the tomboy, the smart one, the fat girl? They make me uncomfortable. I'm working on it. 8- i am a caffiene addict (This was Angeleyes answer. I second that. Mt Dew is my crack.) 9- I have a thing for freckles. Not sure what that's about. 10- I wear makeup maybe 3 times a year. Just holds no appeal for me. All natural, all around.
