Of the 6 years I was in, half of them were spent in airports, bus stations, barracks or hanger bays, and one in boot camp. They can be very lonely, so if you have someone special who is not home this holiday, serving their country, send them something, anything. You would be surprised at how the smallest gift or card can brighten someones day while they are over seas. Have a great Christmas season everyone, and remember those in harms way!
