What are you waiting for?

Was the night before Christmas Was the night before Christmas in a far distant land Not a creature was stirring not even the sand The soldiers were all nestled upon the floor Just settling down after another long day of war When up in the sky, there rose such a clatter The sirens rang out and everyone rose to see what was the matter The guns started blasting, the bombs started booming Everyone screaming instructions on who they were pursuing It was the insurgents again, they did not care whom they killed Women, men and children left dead in the field Our soldiers they weep our soldiers they die But Americans here have not a tear in their eye For you see our government, our president, and our states Think that having God in our society is just a waste We take for granted every day The things our forefathers gave us along the way No more Christmas there will be For our society has taken away Christ from us all So now no man shall ever be truly free. Our soldiers have died for all the freedoms that you have to share Just as God gave his only son so your soul would be spared So remember the reason for the season And let no man take Christ away from you this holiday season As I leave you now this starry night Merry Christmas to all and May god bless you all this night Darren Hager USN 1986-1996 please if you want to send this on to friends. I wrote this for all of our soldiers far and near that have given us all we have to share fubar user: batman824

sick in the head!

well when i decided to get sick. looks like i have to do it the hard way. i quit smoking recently has been 4 and 1/2 weeks now to improve my health and to quit exposing my children to 2nd hand smoke. either way it was the right thing to do. the kicker is... since i quit the nicotine that cause my blood vessels to constrict is no longer in my system. and unknown to me i had a under lying medical problem. there is a strong history of anuerysims within my family and i am at the age where they usually get us. between 39 and 65 (i'm 46), and since i quit smoking i have been getting sharp stabbing pains in the back of my head. like a idiot i tried to ignore the headaches. now it is affecting my vision and motor skills. went to the doctor and got sent straight to the emergency room..... since i have no health insurance i am forced to go through the charity hospital system... i sat in the e.r. for right at 14 hours just to get a test schedual. so now i get to play the waiting game and hope my head doesnt blow up in the meantime. my appointment for a m.r.i. is schedualed for 12-11-07 almost a month from now i also have a 2nd test to be done the same day for a m.r.a...i'll keep my friends posted as best i can. hugs and kisses, patricia
