since the day you were born I protected you from all thats wrong when you fell off your bike I pick you up and made it right now there is pain that i did not cause no matter how strong I am I cant fix whats yours I try to show you more love then you ever had but i see it in your eyes that you guys are sad we will get through life as happy as we can be with my love and strength my children will see don't remember the bad times or the reason why you wept just believe in me the only one you have left

out with the old in with the new are just some things i have to do setting new dreams with lots of hope like cleaning my life with a bar of soap moveing on one step at a time makeing sure my life is mine my head is clear now there is no pain it washed away with the rain living for my kids is what i do making sure there dreams come true my path is different but my goals are the same this time my life wont be a game so i sit real tall sure not to fall i am glad i have it all

speaking through words written on paper showing my mind that this is safer my words they mean alot to me but its filled with anger that needs to be freed looking at life with so much to say but losing myself trying to find the way there is a light at the end of my tunnel but pain and hate will always follow knowing there is happyness in my sight i just need help finding that light
