Part 3

I woke up just as the the high whispy clouds were just being licked from the horizon by the rays of the intense flashes of gold and burnt orange of the rising sun. I sat in the bay window and watched the glow rise and the beams rush out over the bay like it was being fished from the depth of the ocean like a prized pearl from an oyster. I had the the window open and could hear the sounds of life stirring around the bay, and the smell of the fresh salt air rolling off the waves that crashed against the sea wall forty feet below me. Making my way down stairs I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I pulled out the apple juice and the cream cheese, then spun around to grab a bagel. I smothered the bagel in cream cheese, and then licked the knife as to not to waste the smooth spread in the sink washing it. Aunt Melissa walked in, "What are you doing up this early," as become a custom of mine for the last four weeks to not get up before the crack of noon. "I dunno why i woke up this early Aunt Mel," I replied shoving a bite of bagel in my mouth. She walked over to make her a cup of coffee. "Did you grab the paper this morning," she questioned as she poured her coffee. "Yep, it is in your chair," I replied. We talked for about three hours before Ariel and Stacy came in and asked about breakfast followed by Kris a short time later. It turned out to be a spectacular morning so we all decided to break out the watercraft. My aunt being so cool she gave us each our own jetski to keep at her place for when we came to visit. Mine was a majestic midnight blue with ice blue flames across it. Ariel's was a crimson red with jet black pinstripes, Stacy's was a dark forest green, and Kris's was a sky blue with an orange tribal design on the hood. We raced out of the water garage as we called it for some high speed fun. We darted here and there across the bay from one bank to the other, hopping waves and dodging boats. Kris and Stacy made it to the far bank, with me hot on their heels. As we turned to look for Ariel we didn't see her, I looked at Kris, "Did she go back to the house or to get fuel." "Well the fuel depot is right there," he pointed to the dock about thirty yards from us. "Let's go find her," chimed in Stacy, "It is about lunch time and Aunt Mel likes us home to help prepare it." So we started our engines and motored to the fuel depot, but she was not there. We decided that she had gone back to the house. We jetted to the house. As I came closer to the house i noticed a crowd of boats, so i slide up to them to find out what was going on. I was puzzled to see about three big dents down the side of one of the boats, and that is when i saw it. The smashed remains of the crimson and black, another boat was fishing Ariel out of the water and rushing her over to a waiting ambulance. As we pulled up to the dock we quickly tied off and bound up the stairs two at a time and into the car just as Aunt Melissa gunned it in reverse and tailed the ambulance to the hospital. We sat in the waiting room, a family friend named Erin, who happened to be a cop with the local police, walked up, she was slightly chubby with golden rod colored hair and looked at us. "Mel, kids, i am so sorry to hear about Ariel. I hope she is ok," she said, "From the information i have collected she jumped the wave of a passing boat and then crashed with another boat losing control in the air...." She was cut short by the doctor, "I am Doctor Sanders, I reget to inform you that Ariel has passed due to truama to the head and neck from colliding with the boat." My heart sank from my chest as my aunt collapsed to the floor screaming out.

Part 2

I remember this one summer when i was eleven. We were leaving to go to Suki Bay, we always left in late May after school let out, it was a warm, muggy day with clouds scattered across the sky like specks of paint on a blank canvas. We all packed up the old station wagon that my parents have had since the dark ages it feels like. My mom so was a petite woman with shoulder length blonde hair, mesmerizing sky blue eyes, and a smile that would not just light up the room, but banish any shadow to a dark corner of another room. She loaded up my duffle bag into the rear of the car and yelled toward the house, "Stacy, Psymon, Ariel, and Kris is that all of your stuff." "We need to hurry Aunt Melissa is supposed to meet us for lunch at Brickyard," she bark, knowing we still had the long drive, "we going to be late." Kris got in the front seat with mom and my sisters sat in the middle, but being the rowdy kid I was i sat in the back with the bags so i would have plenty of room to lay down or do whatever. After what seemed like decades, we arrive at a little outdoor cafe named Brickyard. We all sat down and had a good meal and caught up with my aunt. Then we all loaded back up and headed about 4 blocks over to where Aunt Melissa lived right on the bay. The house was a two-story dusty redish brick with a huge bay window that allowed you to see out into the bay from the second floor, and out of pure luck that was my room. So we got settled and relaxed as i sat in the window and watched the boats go by and eventually the sunset splashing the evening sky with a array of pinks, purples, reds, and oranges. After a few days of bliss we were in for some events that would that would rock our lives and throw our world into total chaos.

Part 1

My life started out simple, I was the son of parents from a middle class family, we were far from rich, but we had a good living. I grew up the youngest of four kids, my brother Kris was the oldest was five years older than me. He was your average bookworm, always had his nose stuck in a book or working on his schoolwork. Then there was Stacy, my oldest sister, she was four years older than me. She was like most blondes, had the drop dead looks that would make traffic come to a stand still on the interstate, but had the smarts of a deer in the headlights of a oncoming car. Next, is my sister Ariel she had the looks and brains of my brother and sister put together. She was the real deal, with the looks that would drop your jaw and the smarts to blow your mind. Even though she was only a year and a half older than me she taught me everything i learned as a child. We lived out in the country roughly seven miles from Turtle Creek in Cali. Every summer my brother, sisters, and I would all pack up and go stay with my aunt in Suki Bay in south Cali. The drive there sucked due to the four hour trip through Dark Walk Forest. The roadside was choked with wall to wall trees. with the occasional clearing where if lucky you would see deer and other forest creatures. We hated the drive but lusted for the reward of the blast of the cool ocean breeze and the sinus clearing smell of the waters of Suki Bay. God i missed it when i had to leave each year at the end of the summer it felt like it was leaving a piece of my heart behind, but till then i would soak up every ounce never getting my fill.

Introduction

In this walk through life I have learned that we all experience a plethora of emotions and feelings that range from Pain to Passion, Charity to Greed, and most of all Love to Hate. This is the story of a man's journey with an over abundance of twists and turns that come from the experiences in both his life and the lives of the family and friends that surround him. I welcome you to travel with him through the journeys seen through his eyes, his thoughts, and his emotions. If you choose to observe this story unfolding who knows maybe you will learn a thing or two, and then again you might not learn a damn thing. If you do i hope you can picture in your mind's eye the details surrounding this narrative. I hope you enjoy this story as much as i enjoy writing it. I am in noway a writer, but the positive criticism are more than welcome, and for all the haters get over it.
