I wrote this a while ago when i was watching some TV and it inspired me to write this. but wanted to post it anyway. Comments are welcomed =]
"To the Lord I Pray"

I just can't help feeling the way I feel,
I can't help but determine the emotions are real.
They engulf me like fire, drown me like the sea,
but to give up and tire is not really me.
I've got to keep pushing, I was chosen to stress.
Life for me will be hard until my cold body rests.
I feel like Jesus, sometimes it hurts me what I see,
such unthankful peoples negativity surrounding me.
These people are breathing lord
but they're not really speaking lord
Not doing anything so they've never been living lord
Dead souls need forgivness lord.
I shed tears for these people
Hold fears for these people,
that they will someday die not knowing what they do.
But you, you see them as your children, not as a fool.
So eager to please the next human,
but not worried about the impact on this earth that they're doing.
God it's horrible, they believe you need money to feed off of,but to grow all we need is food,water and love.
Sometimes I look toward your face in the stars above,
I ask you why you leave me like this in agany, wishing my
life were at it's end.
But you speak to me and tell me it's only just begun.
I rest my head inside my palms,
cry for the people who've got iron around their arms.
I beg to help, but they're too far away for me to reach.
I speak the truth to them, but they're not understanding my speech.
Give me strength to live another day,
and I promise I will contribute to this earth in any kind of way.
Lord, this is what I pray!
