The beginning to a day is how you wake up!! I awaken every day with coffee in hand and watch the amazing transformation of the skies. As they go from dark with twinkling stars and a bright moon within them, to blue skies and a masterful wave of color across the skies. Then the sun slowly peeks it's head over the trees and begins to once again light up the day. Wow, that is one of the most beautiful ways to begin a day!!! The rest of the day really does not matter, because if you can focus at the end of the day on all that was "good" then the "bad" seems to disappear. And once again a peaceful settlement within over comes you. It litterally takes more muscles to frown or be angry then it does to smile and be happy! So how do you wake up? I have been taught many things by many wonderful teachers in my life. I am a teacher myself and a student all at once. I have said before we are always in the process of becoming and have resently been approached by a few wanting to know the meaning of that. So, I will explain as best I can..... I was taught of three voices within us. One the voice of the mind,Two the voice of the heart, and three the voice of knowing. To explain them as I have seen and know to be......The voice of the mind.... The mind is like a computer, it stores all your lifes experiences within it and never forgets. No matter if you remember them or not. The voice of the heart.....knows only love, but because the mind will bring forth experiences, it will place a wall around it so as to protect it from hurting. The voice of knowing.....that is the little silient voice we Choose not to listen to...some call it instinct, others call it gut, but it is the first thought, the one that you chooose not to listen to cause the mind will trick you to believing something else. A perfect example of this is: you are driving down a street to a place you have been to only a few times, you come to a light and first thought says take a left, but the mind says no take a right, so you take the right. Only to get half way down the road and realize you should have made the left!!!....I know you all can understand that! We all do it. So take a day aside, and practice.....listen to that first thought without questioning.....trust what you hear....and life has new meaning. You are embracing the inner knowing we all have and therefore taking control of who you are. We are spirit beings within human form. Just remember that you must recognize the three voices before you can do this test. For the mind will always bring confusion and past experiences up for you to remember and most likely do the same thing all over again. So with all this said, I do so hope now that it is clear as to what I meant. For truely there is a reason for everything and we are here to learn from or about it. Blessed Be

What is life if you can not see through the eyes of a child? A child has fun, has not learned the teachings that one must justify thier existance by the amount of work they do, or for that matter, they have not been taught to hate, or to judge. I add fun to my life every day. Weather it is a water fight, a walk in the park, tag, swimming or even going for a swing in a playground. Life is great. I do not feed the chaos of life as it is thrown at me. I live life to the fullest forever learning. To teach others, and to help those that need and accept it. Oh I can teach you many things, but, I can't make you or anyone listen. They are teachings or thoughts, and you can take them or leave them. It is your choice. My extended family of friends and loved ones have taught me much. I see through thier eyes. I learn through thier experiences and my own. And I take what is needed to help someone else. I also truly learned the meaning of Unconditional Love that is tested on an everyday basis. There is no conditions on love at all. Love is the only one true feeling as the rest are just emotions. Think about that for a moment. Those that hide behind the masks and illusions they have created will bring you down sooner or later. Again it is Choice. Step out and look. Be the observer and learn. Do good and it will come back to you 1000 times over, do "wrong" and that will come back and destroy you. It is fact. You know this. Sooner or later the lessons will be learned weather in this lifetime or the next. All is good. So walk up to a stranger and give them a hello and a hug!!!!! Put a smile on someone's face. Show them you really care even if you do not know them. All is good.

If there is one lesson that was the hardest for me to learn , it was "CHANGE". We as humans can not really stand change. For every relationship a "change" occurs. You have to accept the other for who they are or who they present themself to be. And as each of you get comfortable with each other, you begin to see things that you may or may not like. And the first things out of our mouth is "you have changed". Actually that is not true. We never really change, we just kinda hide our self. And as we get comfortable we let them out. So we are the same as we were when you met them. This is a hard concept to grasp because out of pure habit we say, we "he did or she did, he said or she said", when the reality of things is it is not about them!!!! Now you are probably saying to your self "she is nuts" but hear me out. It truely is not about them it is about you!!! You see these things and for what ever reason decided you like it or don't like it, there fore it is YOU that wants to change!!!! The fact of the matter the other person has not changed and is the same person you met in the beginning. If you are sitting there saying well, "how come every time I am in a relationship the SAME thing happens". "They are all alike". LOL Well that is a simple answer too that we all choose not to see. Once again it is about us not them!!!! When a lesson is not learned it will constantly repeat itself over and over until you LEARN the lesson or see what it is you need to see!!!! Simple huh? Well not really, cause it is easier for us to blame the other then to step back and see that is may be something we experienced that we have not healed from. LOL I know this is alot, but the truth of the matter is, WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY. You can love life and learn and move forward to constantly be in the process of becoming, or you can remain with your crippling beliefs of that it is everyone else;s fault and not mine. How ever you choose to see, it is YOUR CHOICE. So take it for what it is worth. Have a most blessed day.

Yet another day has come and gone as I write. The day passed was a day to look back on and reflect. To step back and see where one's life is going and to see what needs to be done to stay on the path. Some times it is not always as easy as we speak it to be. This being a learning once again. I am always in the process of becoming....as we all are...and should the day come that I feel I have learned all I can, I will once again step back and reflect upon things in my life and where I stand at the moment. The day was a blessed one, and tommorrow will be one of great rememberances. To see through the eyes of mom's all around the world and what they stand for and how they taught us. Did we take those teachings with us that we experienced, or did we change them? FOR mother's everywhere.....A MOTHER"S LOVE is unlike any other love there is. HAPPY Mother's DAY to one and all...cause even a dad can be a mom, especailly single parents. God Bless you one and all.

The day has once again come to a close. And this time with a few obstacles that came my way. But nothing that I do not put my faith in being resolved. I am thankful for all of those that I touched today. For a simple smile that made someone stop for a moment and smile back even if they were having a bad day. For the night breeze that has cooled things down, and for friends and family. Someday, all will be seen as it should be and not as it is seen now. I came across a woman today that was so filled with anger, that nothing seemed to give her even the smallest bit of happiness. When I spoke to her and her anger was strong, I stopped and listened, and said not another word. Then she stopped in her words for a moment and wondered. She asked me what my problem was, and I said I am sorry that she was having such a bad day and perhaps she needed a hug. The woman looked at me dazed and confused. I walked out from behind the counter and gave her a hug, and although she resisted for a moment, she gave me one back...and walked away a bit calmer. The simpliest things in life such as a hug can bring even the smallest bit of happiness if only for a moment. I am sure she will be as she was with us all, again tomorrow, but she will look back now and remember that some stranger gave her a hug for no apparent reason!!!! Blessed BE

Another day to be thankful for. Although the sun is not shining today,it surely is shining within. You see, one does not have to be rich in the sense of material things or even in money, but you can be rich in spirit. You can have all the riches of this world, all the beauty of a star, but without love, do you really have a thing? Surely gives one something to think about. It may be a damp and cool day, but never the less it is a day of joy. One that I am surely thankful for and moving forward with. Take each thing as it comes and then let it go. :)

As the day comes to a close, the sun setting in the west, painting colors of reds and purple across the clouds. The cool breeze blows across my face as I take a deep breath in thankfulness for the day. It is quiet time now, and all that can be heard is the night. Dampness from the gentle rain as it cools the breeze after a hot day. Looking back on the day, I see the chaos that fills people's life. Sadness, emptiness, loneliness, anger, and more. And a simple smile or a gentle and kind word, brightens thier day if not just for a moment in time....as a smile comes across thier face. What more could someone ask for? If you can live your life and touch even just one life, then all that you have been through is worth it. A quote I once saw....."God never said that it would be easy, He just said it would be worth it....". God's speed of Light be with you.

I am made up of many colors, I have many forms, I am love, I am compassion, I am understanding, I am hope when there is none to be seen. I am the touch when none is felt. I wipe the tears from your eyes, I hold thy tender heart in love's care. I am a close watcher of you. But perhaps this is not understood. Perhaps it is not time for you to know or understand. Faith - that the answer will come, That you will be shown when the timing is His. Trust - that you will hear His words to you when it is time. Love - know that in His greatest love, That He sees what you do not. And that He does not always need to give you the answer you seek, In the way that you seek it. And Patience - in waiting til His time had come, and understand it will be without question reasoning,rationalization, or perhaps without understanding. So, Faith, Love, Trust, and Patience, Strongest words of both our human language and our spiritual language.

The Olive Tree A confused sub came before a wise Master who adored her. She felt that to submit to him would mean she would open her heart to unbearable pain should he ever leave her. She hungered for him and needed him, but was ready to walk away in panic. The gentle Master knelt her before him and started a tale of love and devotion. As she looked up at him his arms began to widen and open like a large tree stretches its branches to the sky. At that moment the Master appeared rooted to the floor and his impressive size towered above her like a giant tree. Then he began to speak...I'm here for you...now and always no matter how far time and space takes us. Whether you walk away from me today or you stay and serve me I will not turn from you. I am as patient as time itself, I will take not from you unless you give freely and completely of yourself, but I give on to you regardless--for my love is unconditional. Like the olive tree that can both feed you and shade you, I am there seemingly eternal to your short life on this earth. If you need my fruit to feed your hunger I will give you all the fruit you need. If your skin grows dry and loses it's luster, the oil from my fruit will restore it and make it glisten. When you need comfort my leaves will gently caress your face with the slightest breeze. When you need discipline my branches will correct you when the winds blows strong. If you need my shade to protect you from the sun, my branches will shade and protect you. If you need warmth at night my fallen branches will fuel the fire to keep you warm and safe. If you need a refreshing breeze my leaves will fan you and cool you. You are my gardener. When you submit to me, you tend that which keeps me vibrant and full of life. When you kneel under me and till the soil, you give breath to my roots. When you water me, my sap flows strong through me raising my limping branches. When you soil yourself collecting fertilizer with your bare hands, you strengthen and humble me with your devotion. Although my life will go on, life would not be the same without you. Your dedication and unconditional care for me keeps me vibrant and nutures my very Core. The sustenance and protection I give you seems little reward for your servitude. Still the gardener serves the tree from her heart and the tree gives to her heart all that he can! I am planted firmly on the ground and cannot follow you if you walk away from me, but be assured I will survive. One hundred years later and two of your lifetimes, I will still be there, waiting for you in the same spot to offer you all that I do now. Stay with me and be my gardener. You cannot get lost in me for we are complementary to each other. I am your devotion, and you give meaning to my existence. Apart we live life and survive; together we bloom eternally! As the Master finished his last words the sub cried herself to sleep at his feet. That night, he stood planted there like the olive tree offering her his unconditional love and protection as she slept. As she would tend to him with her devotion the next day and everyday there after! ~unknown~
