oh, so many to choose from. I can only pick from my very narrow exposure to movies, and at my age memory also is a factor! (I suffer from CRS syndrome....Can't Remember S--t) From my early childhood i was introduced to some silent movie classics from Chaplin and Harold Lloyd; then later I went to see Gone With the Wind with my father at a local movie house. Cinerama hit the screen with How the West Was Won. Teenage years saw Haley Mills aching my heart in Parent Trap, and Steve McQueen thrilled us in The Great Escape. Young adult love brought Love Story, and even though I am no longer involved with the young woman I saw that with, I still remember coming out of the theatre to a blanket of fresh snow covering the parking lot and the flakes floating down all around. More recent favorites include True Lies, Nothing to Lose, Color Purple, Schindler's List, Close Encounters, and I'm sure I'm forgetting the best!
