While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen. Moving thru the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering. When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families. Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or repr

All my life I havehad nothing but complete and utter heartache mostly caused by my family. Guess it started when I was pretty young, just progressively got worse over the years. My ad died when I was only 10, then thats when the majority of the hell started, My mother began to drink alot, she was a very badf alcoholic, and while she was in stuper I was constantly being taken advantage of by her peers, her so called friends. We are getting ready here for the snowbird migration back to Colorado Springs. Hey Everyone, I just wanted to thank you all for your love an support yesterday with my surgery an my one night hospital stay since I am home now.. I had surgery on my heal spur that took a half hour and they ended up cuttin some of my heal bone out cuz of the spur I also have 12 staples in my heal an in the back of my heal. Immigration Problem Solved
Recently there has been a lot of talk on how immigrating people from Mexico has injured our economy. There is also a lot of talk about how to solve this matter. The president wants to put up a wall between Mexico and the US, but what is that going to solve. The proposed wall is not even a continuous wall, it only covers "high traffic" areas and only covers 700 miles. That is like putting a band aid on gushing wound. There was also talks of creating tasks forces to flush out illegals that are already here. Anyway you look at it its our tax dollars that are going to pay for something that probably will have little or no effect. The plan I have is to build a base in Mexico, and not just any kind of base a basic training facility. The Loss Of A Friend
This past weekend I lost my best friend she was my cat T.K. she was at home when she died we stayed with her until 3:30 in the morning when she took her last breath of life . Day 27
May 2, 2008 (Day 27) I got good news (well as good as it gets good) Cindy called (Clinical Drug Trial Nurse) yesterday and my HER II test finally came back from the lab in California. It was negative...that's a good thing...well better then the test being positive. I wanted to take some time to give props to my best friend April. Last weekend she celebrated her 1 year of being clean from drugs. I am so proud of her. I never thought we'd see that day but there is was. To be honest, I thought I'd attend her funeral before anything else. There were many times she almost died. The worst time was when I found her passed out. I got her to the hospital and the Dr's told me if I hadn't found her, she'd be dead. That is the hardest thing to hear. I've helped her as much as I could over the years but for her to get clean, it was a decision she had to make. I couldn't do it for her, not matter how much I begged. But she made that decision and has been clean a year now. We went with her to the NA meeting to see her get the medalian and then we all went to dinner to celebrate her "birthday" as it is called. I have been very busy lately with work..and life around here..so I havn't been on much lately. Yesterday morning I ran money to my boys school for there lunch. Forgot to send it with them.. She was a fiesty, firery, stubborn 4 foot 9 inch tall woman who stood up for what she believed in no matter how big her obsticle or foe. She was 64 years old when she left us Sunday April 27th 2008 at 9:47am and left all of us who knew and loved her heartbroken.I have done alot of things in my life my mother didnt agree with but never once was she ever disapointed in me and all I ever knew from her was love and affection. Hello My friends or visitors, I just need a little help your thoughts on this issue. I am a single parent of a 16 soon to be 17 year old girl. She had her tonsils out over this past school year and she has had alot of colds and infection issues since then. Long Story short she will not pass this year and be held back. She wants me to allow her to drop out of school and go for her GED. I would rather see her start fresh next year even if we need to enroll her in a different school try the first 2 quarters providec she gives 100% if she is still struggling so badly i told her i would consider her going for her GED then. I fixed my car yesterday with some Black Pepper and a wire coat hanger! It had been running hot and seemed to have a small radiator leak so I was told by a local garage here in TN to put about 2 tblsp. of black pepper into the radiator and it seals small leaks! First Arrest

Never Take Anything For Granted
Those who know me, know part of who I am and why I am the way I am. Those who don't...this will provide some insight. I live my life with purpose. I try to inspire others and guide them to realize that life is too short. I grew up a "delinquint" thanks to my childhood being shattered at an early age. I had a baby at age 16 after I was sexually assaulted. My son, Justin, was born at 30 wks premature and the docs gave him a year to live. Well my angel made it to almost 4 yrs old. I was out to sea in the Navy when I got the dreaded call that my baby boy had died in his sleep. I thought I had built a strong enough wall around my heart at that point, but that message from my parents and the Red Cross that day shattered those walls quicker than the Berlin Wall falling. I was put on suicide watch for a week until I could get home. I found out after the autoposy was done that tho he was almost 4 yrs old, his lungs were the size of a 1 yr old baby so he could not get enough air into his lung

Gone From Fubar For Awhile...and Why

Why I'm Single
I'm often asked why I'm single. Honestly I do not know the answer to this. I get all the time that I am sexy, gorgeous, attractive or whatnot, yet all the men I do get interested in, only see me as a friend. Is it cuz I'm not a "bad girl" in public? My 16 year old Justin is in Sedalia this weekend for the State Freestyle/Greco Roman Wrestling Tournament. He moved up in class this year from cadet to junior..He won it all last year.. but as with everything, the competition in the junior class is much tougher than cadet. He has had no formal training in freestyle or greco roman, just uses instinct and the wrestling knowledge he already has..which is a lot.. so this year he took 2nd in freestyle..being beaten on points to the number 2 guy in the nation... at least he wasn't pinned! Tandy "Suicide" Spurlock passed away last night after finishing a fantastic race night at the 201 Speedway. He was 43 years old & loved by race fans everywhere. He will be sadly missed!! My Thoughts
I really am not much of a blogger and please don't spell check me but I had some thought that i needed to get out. I am writing this on the7th anniversary of my fathers death. Today is a very hard day for me because when I was younger my father and I were not very close. In fact my gradfather was more like a father to me at times than my dad was. I understand that my dad had to work to keep us fed but he was hardly home with driving truck and stuff.As I got older and things slowed down and eased up for my dad we became much closer and became very good friends plus father and son. I could finally talk to my dad about things that I was once afraid to mention to him. It felt real nice to have a friend, buddy, and father all in one. I also realize that I had my father in my life than a lot of other people, but concidering that I didn't really have my of a relationship with him until i was in my mid to lat 20's I didn't have that relationship long. What is the meaning of love?....can somebody please tell me. I hear so many people say it but how do you know if they mean it. As everyone knows, I have been working on getting the funding together for my next film.. While that funding has not yet been obtained, my Partner called this evening and tells me funding has come in for a revisit to our first film Red State Road Trip! So, in the next week or so, I will be away from the internet for a while as we get this next installment of that film completed! Funny But Sad News About The Dough Boy!
SAD NEWS... Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Moving Sucks
