So when do you realize that you've grown up? Much of our lives we are wanting to grow up so fast and be so much older than we are. When do we do you finally realize that you are old? I recently had a chance to do some thinking about the whole "dating" process, and I've come up with some perplexing questions on this matter.... What is the "correct" way to initiate dating? Okay here's something i've been waiting for years for someone to explain to me. I want to know the origins of maple syrup. I know who really cares right? Am I the only one who thinks its rude when you enter a lounge and the greeters refuse to acknowledge your presence? I understand the nature of the internet and that people are sometimes away from their keyboards but when you enter a lounge and say hello and the greeters are talking to everyone else and blatantly ignoring you its RUDE!!! I've not only had this done to me on a number of occasions at a lounge I'm considering unsubscribing to for that very reason but I've also been in other lounges and seen it happen to other people. All I can say is that if you're going to be a greeter in a lounge, don't destroy the lounge by not doing what you're there to do! You need to treat everyone the same, not pick and choose who you will or will not speak to! All that does is give the lounge a bad reputation!

Lately I've noticed that at a party or club finding girls to simply dance with is no easy task. Health Update!!
Well, the colonoscopy is done. Now its another waiting game until Feb.6, 2008. I have been dealing with pain since before Dec.17,2007. So far 2 pregnancy test, a by annual exam, 8 vials of blood work, 2 x-rays, 3 sonograms, 1 cat scan, and a stool sample drop off and so far nothing. The Dr. did remove a polyp today and is sending it out for a biopsy to make sure its not cancerous. In the mist of all this going on I happen to do a breast exam on my right breast last night due to being uncomfortable and it seeming real sensitive. I have felt a lump. So I'm a little emotional,and as far as the Dr.'s still coming up empty handed is frustrating. The fact that I have never had sensitivity with my breast at all for me is a new can of worms.. I have stretch marks from my pregnancy over a year ago. When you push down on them they are very sensitive and feel almost like a beaded necklace. They are on my stomach and my breast. I have had the Dr. today tell me I should go to a dermatologist. Now

I have been with my b/f (Stuart) now for 4 yrs and in the 4 yrs he has driven a truck OTR. At first I used to bitch, moan, and groan that he wasn't home on holidays, or that we couldn't plan anything. Another night spent crying, I swear I really am trying. To come to terms with my loss, but the bridge is to hard to cross. A night filled with bad dreams, nothing is what it seems. I try to count the days and seem to lose track every time. All I can really say is that it's been over a month. But for some reason, it seems longer. Today I said Goodbye to a soldier, watching him board the bus glancing at him for the last time crying tears of a empty heart wondering thoughts of when will i see him again labeling him a soldier, a father, a husband, a brother closing my eyes and pray to God that my hero, most importantly, my father comes back home safe that if god may, bless my family with strength to keep fighting the fight, loving the love my god give strength to this hero, this... I went to jail back in May of this year and came out a new man. I've realized I have been selfish in my ways of thinking and it has cost me the best thing that ever happened to me. She left me right at Christmas and it was my fault. I now realize that sometimes in life we shouldn't take all the little things for granted and be grateful for all that we have in life. I am now planning on attending TRCC Community College to obtain a degree. Sometimes in life we fail to realize that God puts tests before us to find out if we are capable of learning from our mistakes and I'm believing that more and more every day. Man accidentally shoots himself during robbery, police say The Associated Press KOKOMO - Kokomo police say a man accidentally shot himself in the groin as he was robbing a convenience store. A clerk told police a man carrying a semiautomatic handgun entered the Village Pantry this morning demanding cash and a pack of cigarettes. The clerk put the cash in a bag and as she turned to get the cigarettes, she heard the gun discharge. Only An A$$ Hole Would Beat A Woman
I stopped at a store after work for some soda and got more than I bargained for. I see a guy beating a small lady senseless , this poor woman had a bloody face. I grabbed the guy and told him to stop , he mummbled something and swung at me. I beat his ass the way he beat hers , then told him to enjoy his time in jail. Then the cops finally show up and I get put in hand cuffs lol. Witness`s tell them what happened and I get released , but not before the officer asks me a funny question. Would I have beat the guy up if he wasnt an african american beating on a white girl? My Second Attempt
I have been smoking since i was 22. I picked it up for various reasons, my friends smoked, my parents smoked for years... well that is before my mom developed asthma; and then her and my father quit cold turkey, together.(for there were no patches and gum, or pills... 1987) Durring the course of smoking, get this, i was able to quit cold turkey for every pregnancy. When i found out i was pregnant, *BOOM*.. the cigarettes were out the door, and i didn't start to smoke again until they were about 9months old. So, might as well say i quit for a 1 1/2 years, three times. I never smoked around my children, nor do i now, and i never will. HOWEVER, as of right now, i have this stupid little dry cough that won't go away.. persistent. My lungs hurt, chest hurts, and hard to breath at times. I quit last summer, because i felt like this, and now, here i am again. I called the "Maine tobacco helpline" and i'm doing this again, for good. I am ready to quit. I think back to last sum

Recently I had a shock, my Dad had a heart attack and we were very close to losing him. A very emotional time for myself and family. I just want to share with everyone how lucky I am to have Ric in my life....he was so thoughtful and supportive. He has a such a huge heart, so filled with love and caring for his friends and family! Life Update
Will hopefully know later today or tomorrow if house has sold. The past two weeks have been especially hard on me. Listing my home for the past nearly 30 years because we lost it, ending a marriage of nearly 30 years(been together over 30 1/2), and having the man I fell in love with stop talking to me. Packing up and tossing 30 years of things accumulated with love because the love is gone on both our parts, is harder than I expected. With no help from my children its as if they either can't wait for me to be gone or are hoping it isn't going to happen, makes it even harder. Red Sky At Night A beautiful crimson red sky at night, as all the stars begin to shine so bright, as you wait for your special star to shine, a wish that you want flows through your head, you hope to get your wish, because there are others who wish you dead, a silver blade dripping with red, a knife in your heart, a bullet to your head. i once heard a quote on a t.v. show when i was little, from all people, but yes, AL BUNDY, from the show " married with children " , and this is that quote! how can you truely be happy or sad? isnt it all relative? what you believe that makes you happy,sad, prosperous, rich, poor, wealthy, pretty, ugly,....its all relative to what other people see. everybody lives in their own world, has their own opinions, enviornment, and perception. you might not own your own car, but you have one, ...some people walk. you might be upset that all you have to eat is chef boyardee, but to a kid in indonesia, thats fine dining. you might not be the owner of the residence in where you live, but at least you have a roof over your head, and furniture, and a refrigerator, and a "t.v." Rip Vampira
In the early morning hours of January 10th, 2008, while sleeping peacefully, Maila Nurmi suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away. Maila had recently turned 86 and was in seemingly good health and spirits. Funeral arrangements are pending due to a search for relatives, but a memorial service will be held in Los Angeles in the near future
