The Beach
Id been waiting to hit the beach ever since I moved to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, but one thing or another would come up and Id have to put it off again. Finally I got my chance. Hi Everyone, First, thank you so much for everyone who has visited my page and have kept Angel in your prayers. The thoughts, and prayers mean a lot to us. Sadly, I must report to you all that today we are making the decision to take him off the respirator. The EEG shows no sign of any brain activity and nil for a chance of survival. I want you all to know that I myself am at peace with this decision as much as I would love to keep Angel here with us, he was always such a good kid. I guess its true what they say, "Only the good die young!" It has been very disheartening to endure these last few days to say the least. I am quite tired and emotionally drained as you can well enough imagine. Having working in the ICU I have seen miracles happen, but unfortunately, I only allowed my family to maintain hope for a miracle, but it hasn't come and I am not certain it will. I will miss my Angel; but, I will always have an Angel to watch over me and my family as our days continue.

The cancer is back but I am relieved that going through the chemo isn’t neah as bad as I thought it would be so my quality of life is really pretty good. I loose my hair and I sleep a lot but I do ok. Need to keep up with my stretches and exercises so I can get back to things quicker once the chemo stops. I have the option right now of going to be with a couple but I can’t really do anything theah until this round of chemo is done... I don’t want to change horses in the middle of the stream… lol So much to think about I

I need to sleep, it is to scary to go to sleep. Its always in my mind. My dreams aren't safe anymore. I'm so tiered, and just want to go to sleep. I feel I am out of my body, and watching myself slip away. The last few days I've been running on about 3-4 hours of sleep per night, and 5 hour energy shots to stay awake. The Sweet Potato Pie
20 pounds frozen cleaned chitterlings, thawed 1 large baking potato 2 large onions, peeled and halved 1 green bell pepper, chopped 3 cloves garlic 3 stalks celery, with leaves 1 cup apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons salt 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning to taste 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste Clean the chitterlings by removing all the specks and fat with specks on them. Rinse in several changes of salted water. Place them in a large pot and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, drain, rinse and fill with enough water to cover again. Return to the heat and add the potato, onions, green pepper, garlic, celery and vinegar. Season with salt, bay leaf, Creole seasoning and red pepper flakes. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 3 to 4 hours. Chitterlings should appear clear to white in color. Cut the chitterlings into 1 inch pieces and return to the pot. Pour out most of the cooking liquid. Discard the potato, onions, celery and bay leaf

If you have not watched Michael Moore's SICKO then I suggest you do. I also recommend a Documentary called "Michael Moore hates America" 10 parts on youtube. Watch them all. I take no sides, I am trying to get Americans to find their OWN truth. Don't take any one persons statements, find out for yourself. Keep an open mind and then do your OWN research. I am not saying everything he says or shows is 100% accurate, but the idea is sound. We need to do away with insurance companies for profit ENTIRELY and put the CEO's out of work. Remember they make MILLIONS a year, by making the most profit for their company. How to do this is simple, pay as little as possible for our needed health care and charge as much as possible for premiums. See if they charge what they consider reasonable premiums, more people pay so they don't get TOO outrageous in prices. Unless of course you start costing them too much, then your rates go up and up until you can't afford it and drop the plan.

Ok, so if I start gettin strange and not too chatty for a bit....the end of September through the first couple weeks of October are really tough on me and I have more pressure this year on top of it. In 06, on the way home from a trip to Jersey for Debra's (my daughter's) birthday September 25th we were just getting on the bus when my mom called me hysterically to tell me my dad was being rushed to the hospital and he was really really sick. He wasn't the type to EVER even go to a doctor and so I knew it was bad! We cried the whole bus trip back and my mom told me the last half hour to come to the hospital straight from the bus, it was really bad. Brother
My brother went into the hospital , June 25th to get chemo shots. He developed infections and it got bad. He had luekemia and eventually the infections wore off . However, he is just resting in the hospital in Philly and they are just going to make him as comfortable as possible. Liver shut down, kidney shut down and hes getting no chemo . Now its just a waiting time til its his time for him to go with my mom. All this happened too soon and caught us off guard. I feel so sorry for him and sad as we cried the other day. My About Me For Now
So most of the stuff on here was old so I figured why not update. Though it's not like anyone will read this far as it is since I'm a guy lol. 6 Dead..4 Wounded
It has been one year since the massacre of those innocent people. I still to this day get tears when I deliver the mail to those boxes. I feel so helpless. Have you ever had a life that maybe wasn’t the best? It maybe wasn’t what you really wanted, but it was worthwhile? One minute you’re running around trying to make last minute birthday plans for your daughter. The next minute you’ve slipped into a diabetic coma. On January 16, my 25th birthday, my mom did just that. We thought we had lost her. One minute she was asking me to make the room stop spinning and the next, shes lying helpless in a hospital bed. My mom had a job, had a life, had a husband, and she had a daughter and grandson who love her dearly. I had a choice to make. I was on disability myself but temporarily. Health Update
I have finally received a report from my consultant regarding my carpal tunnel syndrome. He has confirmed despite that my nerve conduction tests were normal that I do have carpal tunnel syndrome. While I was in hospital with pneumonia I had an x-ray of my C-spine to check for a cervical rib but none was present. My thyroid tests were normal. For the moment I am not having many problems with my condition. Because of this I have been advised not to have any surgery at this time as it might produce pillar pain which might interfere with my work and cause me to have a few months of work. When I next have pain I will have further steroid injections and if necessary after that I will have surgery. I currently have pneumonia, it started with a cold a week ago when I got back from London. I was admitted to hospital on Wednesday night straight after seeing my doctor. Luckily for me the antibiotics that they administered to me via a drip worked quickly. Within hours I was moved to

God Amazes Me

The Story Of Snowy
As a general rule, there are few things that I feel strongly enough about to post thoughts for other people to read, but this is one of them, so The Shooter cranks one out. If you have read my profile you know that I am an animal lover and activist whenever neccessary or possible. One day last week my wife comes home with the story of Snowy and relates it to me. Seem that one of the oil-field workers that does some business with their company has a dog to "get rid of". We currently have three rescue dogs in our home and have lost two of our old dogs this year. One of our remaining three is 15 years old, deaf and blind. well i must say i had the best birthday ever!!!! Driving On The Freeway
Im bored at work...so i thought why not blog about something that is bugging me.... I drive about 30 miles to work 5 days a week. Almost all my driving is done on the 101, which is one of the major freeways here. It can take me any where from 30 minutes to an hour to get to work or home from work depending on traffic. Anyways....while driving to work I realized there are a lot of things that bug me about drivers on the free way. 1. people driving slow in the fast lane and not getting over so you can pass. 2. people who merge into your lane and start to drive under the speed limit. 3. people who cut you off while on their cell phone. Turning 50
Wow, its finally here, on Thursday Aug 21, I turned 50. I am amazed at the fact that I made it this far and I am truly excite about being 50. I feel my journey to get here has been a wonderful learning experience. I have had trials and tribulations as many do but I have tried to look at each experience as a learning tool that has made me the person I am. Although I will be 50, I know my learning is not done and I am looking forward to continuing the journey in this life. My Dad
My Dad ( 1908-1974) I was very fortunate growing up, I had a wonderful man for my dad. My Dad was born on Novemeber 15, 1908 in Burlingame CA. After all these years the house is still standing. My Dad and his parents moved to Reno, Nevada and thats where he met my mom. I was born March 19, 1952 in Reno Nevada. It was great growing up there. Dad use to race boats on Lake Tahoe and he really enjoyed it. My Dad and Grandpa had their own construction busines in Reno WAtkins and Son Millwork so I learned from an early age all about construction and yes I can still read blue prints lol. Daddy was Coast Guard certified so he could patrol the lakes in the Reno-Tahoe area. He loved it. I remember always going on the boat with him, yes i had to be certified too. Life In General
So once we made it to the residence we went in and got a parking pass for my car, cuz we didn't know how long I was going to have to hang around till the storm let up. We went up to Scottys room and tried to order pizza but the guy on the phone said they werent delivering. Which was a lie since we seen a delivery guy downstairs when we came in...lol So we headed downstairs to find some food, there is a subway but it looked closed. So we ended up spending like over $20 on junk food, well not all junk, we got a frozen pizza and a small mac and cheese for me. We headed up to the room and we broke the pizza in half and cooked it in the toaster oven... Yum yum! As time passed we hung out and ate our junk food, and tried to get Megan a cab home. To all my fubar friends. There is a nasty spyware program that I want to warn you about. If you are surfing the net to shop or pay your bills and you get a pop up (yes it gets past pop up blockers) about virus protection this is what you do: Hit alt/ctrl/delete on you keyboard. Use your task manager to close your browser and to make sure you have no other things that are downloading into your computer. This spyware if you let do its thing it will destroy your operating system!!!! 70 bling pack
