Work
alot has been on my mind regarding my job..this past month. We have had a slow period..not enough patients..etc.Some due to Doctors going on vacation..etc.. Anyways, this is first time in 19yrs I have seen it this bad up there. We have been combining with the medical floor. I was beginning to wonder if we were even gonna have jobs. Anyways, got called by my boss today. She wanted to let me know what was going on. I guess they plan on having us be a small unit..with just 10 beds. We will be open monday through friday and what few patients we have left on friday we will move to medical floor. She was asking me if I was willing to work 12hr days. I will only have to work 2 days a week instead of 3. I will not have to workweekends...and lesser holidays. I said it sounded wonderful. Although I am sure my paycheck will notice the difference. Will not be making the extra 2 dollars a HOUR. on the weekends...or the shift diff working evenings. Anyways..all in all it sounds go

I Just Don't Know...
Well yesterday I had a total meltdown over what's been happenin' in my house with my dogs. Three people accused of failing to care for an infant who starved to death in Waterford had their cases sent to trial today. Okay so the huskers are doing great this season. They have their ups and downs just like the weather I was talking about in my other blog, though. well i guess i should clarify why it is so great this guy is stayin in prison. some of my friends that dont know what is going on are reading my blogs which is great just need to let you all know what is going on. on feb 29 of 2004 my 20 month old son was killed by a guy that was watching him. in september of 2006 he was sentenced to 30 years in prison and immediately filed an appeal. so yes the notice the appeal got denied is great news. he killed my son and he needs to suffer for the rest of his life. ihope this lets ppl know more of what is going on. so for those of you that know me well. jim had an appeal open and we have been waiting to hear for awhile the decision. well we got the decision today, his appeal got denied. so til he appeals to the next highest court he is still in there for 29 more years. today couldnt get any better knowing he is stayin in prison. thanks for all your thoughts and prayers they have obviously helped. luv ya all.

My Student Lan Ii
I couldn't be prouder than a peacock for my ESL student Lan. We have both been asked to make a presentation speech for our annual awards banquet later this month. This is in addition to the presentation we made at the orientation for new teachers two weeks ago. She has worked hard to get to this point in less than two years. She has gone from not speaking or reading a word of english in 2000 to being tested in May and acheiveing nearly a 10th grade level in reading comprehension. I was told by my supervisor that she has only one level left in our program before she will have to seek help elsewhere if she wishes to continue studying english. We are looking for additional resources to help her continue. One option is to become a tutor herself but she is not that confident right now. That will come in time.

...Not! Well this is was happened. Earlier this week, I was copying an edited version of Halo 2 over to my modded Xbox (which I had called Xbox Red). I leave for a moment to go to the bathroom while it was copying the files over to the hard drive on my Xbox Red. Suddenly after finishing my business, I hear a loud *POP* and I said to myself "what the fuck was that?" and then rushed into my room to find my Xbox Red with smoke coming out from it. I unplugged the power cord from it without even having to think and I took it to the kitchen and took the cover off to find even more smoke. I found out what happened after the smoke cleared. A compasitor popped and the "blood" from it burnt the motherboard and melted some wires. I was annoyed by that. Luckly I have more than one Xbox. I still had my other Xbox (which I call Blue) and decided to mod it again since I use my Xbox 360 for getting on Xbox Live. Whats Been Going On With Me Lately??
Just want to take a few minutes to fill my friends and family in on whats been going on with me lately. Some may have noticed I seem to be "absent" or you dont see me around much. Well, there has been alot going on. It all started with a simple Dr appt to renew my med prescriptions. I was referred to a dermatologist who did a biopsy of the spot (divot/dip) on my nose. It came back positive for basal cell skin cancer. That Dr referred me to a Dr at the Skin Cancer Clinic in Longview that does a special procedure that minimizes the tissue lost when the cancer is removed. That appointment was very difficult for me as the real extent of my situation came to light. I could lose a large part of my nose depending on how large and how deep it is. That wont be known until they get in there and remove it. At that point another Dr may be called in to do the reconstruction. I just returned home from an appt with him and he was able to answer alot of questions I had. Some have asked why xray

Today I learned that we lost a member of our chapter. She was out riding yesterday...such a beautiful day it was...and got into an accident that claimed her life. We just rode with her on a ride this past Saturday! It amazes me how we can be here one minute and gone the next. It keeps me mindful to pray for all my Brothers and Sisters out riding on their bikes for safety out on the road. Not always do people driving cages (cars) look out for us on bikes. Please!! What's good....I still have not had time to completely figure out this site. In fact, how in the hell is anyone able to find more than an hour or so to spend on this damn thing. For Those That Chose To Serve...
At 6:08 a.m., November 20, 2006, I awoke to find Angelica, my precious 10 year old daughter, suffering a Grand Mal seizure. Yes, I'm sure it was a seizure. Her hands were in fists and her little arms were bent at the elbows and her entire body was stiff as a board and in what looked like one huge muscle spasm. A quick call to my mom who yelled at me to call 911 and hung up, and then to 911 and the firefighters and paramedics were at my apartment by 6:15 a.m, if even that long. When you're in a panic, you tend to lose all track of time and logical thinking. Though I did remember to call into work! LOL I ran downstairs in my jammies, jeans, no shoes, no jacket, and flagged them down. I ran back upstairs with one of the paramedics hot on my heels to find her unconscious but breathing. I just came to the realization that I am not living my life. I'm just existing. And that breaks my heart. It's also causing a lot of stress on other people. In the beginning I had gone to several emergency rooms, Urgent care etc. No one could figure out what was wrong with me. They weren't paying attention. Finally I got an MRI done June of 2006. Life, Friends, And Enemies.

Updates On Baby Kaleb
July 2 2007 Kaleb is still doing well. The first day after surgery he was wide awake and moving a whole bunch. But now he seems to be sleepy again. Josh and I seem to think it is a result of the Phenobarbital they have him on. This is a VERY Strong anti seizure medication. It slows EVERYTHING WAY DOWN. Other tahn that though he is very stable. so yar my dad gets another job offer in Conroe,Tx. i was sad that i would never see my friends from school again. there is one i managed to find on facebook but he doesn't remember me :P so i went to a new school and finished up 1st grade. the house we lived on was like a really small ranch in another forested area. we had a pasture for horses but never had any. after 1st grade we had to move again because our house kept having problems and the landlord wouldn't help fix them. a few months later my dad took him to court and we ended up winning i think. i know i went to the court when it happened but i cannot recall at all what happened.

point one: well i have noticed a few things from the news and also being over seas myself. the biggest thing i noticed is other govs make cash hand over fist when anything is brought into thier country. for example korea when i was stationed there has a double tax policy on cars made from out side thier country so 80% of the cars there are made there. like if they bought a car in the us and paid lets say 50k then they have it shipped to korea they have to pay 50k in taxes. so if we adopted this policy out US car companies would be able to basicly sell more cars and would beable to creat more jobs to make these cars since no one would wank to buy a 30k handa and then pay 30k in taxes. it would bost the econamy a lot.

I Feel Rough....
Hi... God i feel rough as f*** today. i woke up with a splitting ear ache and a banging headache, the worst thing is i haven't even been drinking.
