Small Town Sleeper...new Album Updates!!!
I regret to announce that Small Town Sleeper will not be playing The July 6th First Friday Event in Downtown Urbana. Before I go into detail, I would like to encourage everyone to still attend the event as “Hollow Point” and Urbana’s very own “Moore” will still be playing. I can honestly say that the entire STS crew was looking forward to this fantastic hometown event. We are currently in the process of setting up a make-up date, although no details are available yet…it is in the works!!! Baby Blog
Rylee Nichole is here. She was born on 02/18 at 11:02pm weighing 7lbs 6oz and 19 inches long. We get to go home tomorrow and we are so excited. I still cant believe I am a mommy. I felt a few contractions before I got something for them...after that I didnt feel anything. I was in labor for about 6 hours and pushed for about 45 minutes. I didnt feel her come out either...I only knew she was out she the doctor showed her to me lol. I am gonna post a picture of her and will post more tomorrow. We are getting closer and I am so excited. My appointment went great. My BP was 113/67...I didnt gain any weight the past 2 weeks. They said the baby was head down and I am 1/2cm dilated...which I know aint much but it tells me that I am getting close. I am starting to think that the baby isnt gonna stay until her due date which as long as she is healthy I am ok with that. Richard says she better stay in there cause he isnt ready yet but no one is ever ready. I now go in for weekly appointments. So

Well after 2 very long years I am ready to see my daughter. I leave out here in minutes driving to MO to get her. Well now my ex is deciding to pick up my daughter 2 weeks before I get her to take her to live with him for that time. He has no one who will watch her while he works a 12 hr work shift nor wheil he is sleeping. So if he makes that attempt there is a chance that I will be making a run for my daughter this weekend. This poor little girl has made it clear to everyone around she wants to be with me and he is getting bitter about it. He assumes he will never see her again. I wouldn't do that. Yes he did it to me but it's wasn't fair to my fdaughter, that is her dad I am her mom she should be able to have contact with us both. I would never take that away from her and in truth even as much as I dislike my ex I am not cruel enough to do to him what he did to me.

Mark And Lina's Blog
Just a quick note to bring everyone up to date. One day short of three months in Intensive Care, Lina was able to get well enough to be transported to a new hospital that specializes in long term rehabilitation. Here she will work on getting rid of her trach in her throat, speech therapy and getting her muscles to regrow. As of yesterday, her first day, she moved her neck a couple of times and her fingers on her right hand several times. She mouthed some words, but none of us could make them out. The new hospital is very nice and homey and less clinical looking, which will help her in the long run. She has a lovely window and a bed that actually faces a television (and vcr, she watched part of SINGING IN THE RAIN last night before falling asleep). She will be at this hospital for several weeks (I'm guessing about two months or more from what I could gather). She will then go to another facility for long term physical therapy where she will learn motor skills and finge

My Cat Sassy had to be put to sleep yesterday. She had Cat alzheimers, was severely dehydrated and since the day before couldn't even stand up. :( RIP Sassy April 8 1991 - Sep 4 2007. oh wow, it's been a crazy day. did my nude photo modeling, and it turned out that one of my coworkers was there!!!! Well this week for me in my short standup career I had a bad week. First, I blew my set in Baton Rouge and then I did Lucy's last night and bombed. It is a stark and extreme conrast to last week when I nailed it both nights. The set in Baton Rouge happened when I forgot to mention my kitten killing at the beginning of the set and when I went into a joke where I was talking about killing kittens, I realised that I hadn't given the explaination and ended up back tracking. Pedantic Issues With Movies And Tv
Ok, I have a couple of issues with this movie... *spoilers... as always* Firstly, if this pyramid wakes up once every 100 years and they send their trainee predators down to hunt the aliens, the whole set-up requires the other predators to get there first to convince a bunch of people that they're Gods and that they must sacrifice themselves for the hunt. This way they can create some aliens for the predators to fight. Pretty much everything else is automated, but without some humans waiting in the sacrificial chamber, the game cannot even exist. Now, as luck would have it Lance Henriksson had his team down there and some of them got caught by the face-huggers, but had that not happened the hunters would have turned up to just find a bunch of eggs. At the end of the movie, the sole survivor is left alone on this Antartic island and temperatures well below zero without even a coat, when all the predators fly off on the mother ship. well as for right now i go in for surgery December 10th unless i can find another surgeon that can get me in sooner. i'll be on and off here but hopefully only more than i've been in the last two months. My next step is now a biopsy to tell if it's cancerous or not. ok well the doctor called me himself today to tell me i had 3 tumors. 2 on the right side of the thyroid and 1 on the left. This past Saturday my son had extreme abdominal pain, then 2 days later pain in his thighs that he described as bad enough to make him puke. Both times he went to the ER, both times told it was nothing more than muscle cramps. My son is 24yrs. old and has always been an athlete. He still holds his High School's indoor High Jump Record and is 4th overall on most recieving yards in a season for their football team, so we're not talking a lazy whiny kid. today would have been Ashleys 18th birthday. It seems so messed up how things can change so suddenly like that and mess up the entire way of things. I found out four days ago ... I am not really into brand names or designer fashions... the large price tags on shoes, handbags and jeans. I am more of a practical level-headed spender. Just thought I'd let you all know that, starting tomorrow (Monday the 13th) and running for the next 11 weeks (through Nov 22) I'm going to be taking a class that will hopefully help position me to get a better job (so I can have a little bit more money to waste on Fubar!
