Once again, I spent another night deeply depressed. All I could think about is that I’m thirty years old and still single. Sure, I’ve asked women out before, yet when it came to the night of the actual date, they always blow me off. If they’re going to do that, why don’t they say “no” in the first place? Hi All - Sorry I've been away for so long, but it has been a hectic year. In April of 2010 I had a rather large tumor removed that was playing tag with most of my vital organs. The good news is that it wasn't cancerous. The bad news is I'm still usually in a bit of pain as a result of the surgery. With that little scare out of the way, last summer I decided to redouble my efforts to get my publishing company off the ground. In December 2010 we came out with our first short story collection, with two more following in February and March. We've also signed four authors to contracts for full-length novels - the first one is scheduled to come out in August 2011. I'll private message anyone that wants the website for the company. Well just in case anyone wants to know, the reason I have been feeling bad is I had to go to the ER last night. I thought for sure they were going to tell me I had Bronchits but nope...I was having a severe asthma attack. I was given 4 breathing treatments before they let me go home. The heating unit went out in my dryer. The guy that fixes things went in to the dryer pulled out the lint filter. It was clean. We always clean the lint from the filter after every load of clothes.He told us that he wanted to show us something. He took the filter over to the sink, ran hot water over it. Now, the lint filter is made of a mesh material - I'm sure you know what your dryer's lint filter looks like. WELL...the hot water just sat on top of the mesh!!! It didn't go through it at all!!! He told us that dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh that's what burns out the heating unit. You can't SEE the film, but it's there. This is also what causes dryer units to catch fire & potentially burn your house down with it! He said the best way to keep your dryer working for a very long time & to keep your electric bill lower) is to take that filter out & wash it with hot soapy water & an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. Well, we went for the pre-surgery consutation and what's gonna happen is June 16th she'll have 2 operations, the 1st to insert electrodes in and on the brain to show exactly where the seizures are starting and the 2nd to remove the tumor, Then on the 28th she'll have the section of brain removed that is the culprit. 70%-85% of her seizures will end and she'll be off her meds. in about 1 year. Risks are 3% chance of infection, 0.25% stroke and they have never had anybody die on the table so death is 0%. I'll update when we get more info! So yeah.. start the game off and we're doing GREAT .. scored a touchdown right away! Score another in the 2nd quarter. Then we start noticing lightening.. ref's hadn't noticed it yet. Garen was a 6 year old that came to me 2 days ago..severly dehydrated with multiple infections. A handsome ferret with cole black eyes deeply sunkin into his head from illness. He fought the good fight with me but did not make it. I finally took him to bed with me at 6am this morning. We cuddled and he chattered weakly for an hour before we both fell asleep wrapped warmly around each other. I woke at 3 hours later with another ferret licking my face and Garen was still cuddled to me with his cole black eyes closed and a peaceful look on his face. Entry for October 25, 2006(Election Year) Seems as if every time there is an election year, politicians have nothing better to do but bash one another, instead of telling us what they will do to better the economy(bringing back jobs,increasing the minimum wage, dealing with the fuel prices(increasing fuel mileage , finding better ways to decrease foreign oil)controlling the global warming, protecting our rain forests, and parks(what we have left of our heritage for generations to come).Instead of drilling, increase the fuel mileage, and find other ways and means for fuel(solar energy, hybrids, windmills). There has been alot of corruption in this government, as we have found out, and the republicans are trying to avoid alot of issues. We need people that will work for the people , not corporations, lobbyists, or the so called rich(not all are bad)Keep the politics out of the peoples homes(pro, or anti-choice activists) ,after all it is a womans body, and they too have rights.
