Here's the plan ~ He goes off and tunes pianos or harpsichords or organs all day. I try to stay sane coping with my dying mother and then cook with him in the evening while the blackeyed peas are on an earlier simmer. We get loaded on champagne and talk about high school, music, poetry, art, politics, and criminal justice or some other things. Night feels like a heavy shroud on me while he talks about the sunlight of things to be. We joke about the 7 endwarfins and remember how we met when I was 15 and he was 17 and love how we are the same as then but all grown up now. He loves what he finds "helpless" in me. LOL. i haven't dared to say that i love the same in him.
So. What do you think? Does this sound beautiful or what? Or are we just like the Beach Boys catching the wave & sitting on top of the world ~ for now? |
