So i am listening to the radio on my way in to work this mourning. and the host is talking about a program called "Say no to sex". it is supposed to be aimed at kids to try to stop or prevent kids from engageing in sex to early.turns out that the program is a billion dollar flop.kids and others are saying that it does not work and is not helping at all. i am single and have no kids so this effects me slightly at best, but for the 1000's of you who do that has got to be some scary sh*t to hear. the host went on to say that kids are starting to experiment with sex at a young age. they got a few kids to call in and they were pushing the abstainance thing.one girl said she was going to wait till marrige another saide the same thing. the went on to spell out that the rep you get in like high school sticks with you for life. the cohost mentioned that she stoped hanging out with friends in high school because they had that rep. and she did not want to be caught up in the same sh*t as her friends. one guy who is going to colledge did state that the whole double standard about men and women is slowly changing. it is becoming less and less a mark of pride for men to have had sex with lots of women and women are not being looked down on as much for haveing more than one or two partners. now if you ask me it is an idea who's time has come. but that is just me.getting back to the subject of this blog i think it is a dark day indeed that kids are sometimes have sex as early as 13 to 14 years old. but the best way to prevent becoming grand ma or pa at like 30 to 35 is teach your kids about sex.and for the love of god don't bullsh*t them. they are smarter than you think and will talk away any garbage you spit at them.and don't try to half a$$ it give them all the info they can handel not just ask for. because we insist on trying to keep sex in the closet,under the bed, or buried in the back yard kids get that breaking the rule thrill (and lets face it sex is fun and feels good)thing.the truth is that sex is everywhere to see but nobody talks to kids enough about it. so they get in to trouble and everyone has to bail them out. not just parents.and untill some one can find a way to make being a virgin untill marriage cool we are going to have this problem.
