Yes! Let me first say, yes Stephen King is a brilliant writer, but Clive Barker has always been able to go that little farther into the warped for my taste. I love Barker's work and have read many of his books. I recently picked up a copy of his book released last Halloween called Mister B. Gone. Holy fuck I love this book. It is told in first person from the narrator, a demon named Botch. This book is awesome. In addition to demons and extreme violence, the book has plenty of dark humor, sex, gore, and it attacks the Catholic church. Fucking bravo Mr. Barker! To top that, Doug Bradley (for those of you who don't know, he plays the Pinhead character in Hellraiser) will be recording an audio book for this. Doug Bradley has an amazing voice, so I may have to get that to listen to even if I have read the book.

Yes! One of my favorite Barker short stories is being made into a movie, which will star Vinnie Jones (he fucking rules). The story Midnight Meat Train was originally in one of the 'Books of Blood' series. Great storyline, lots of vivid gore.. I hope Hollywood doesn't fuck this up.
