I have the opportunity to send my daughter to the Headstart program this fall. She is 3, will be 4 in december, and is begging me to let her go to school already. I begged my mom to let me go to preschool when I was her age, and she wouldnt let me. Now I think I know why. I dont think I am ready to let her go. She is 3 years old. Isnt she to young to get on a bus all alone and go to school? Wouldnt that be making her grow up to fast? I am thinking about calling the place tomorrow. Help.
I am not trying to be a BAD parent, being there are a lot of bad parent bashing mumms lately, but I am not sure if she is old enough yet. But maybe it is just me afraid to let my baby grow up. :( |
