From the darkness, it is your choice to embrace the gift by letting it guide you
Back to whom you really are or force the gift away and let the darkness within
You consume you forever.
As the voice fades away you begin to wonder if it was just an illusion within your
Mind, had you really gone crazy, all of a sudden light over powers the darkness
Driving it back into the pits where it had come from. Within the light stands a figure,
As the figure moves towards you, your heart skips a beat and you are frozen with fear,
Yet your body still move and it begins to pace back and forth as if it was taken over by some unseen force, the warmth and comfort that this figure puts out frightens you and as it draws near your body backs away, without warning the darkness within you lasses out at the figure in an attempt to drive it away from it's host. But the figure never stops advancing, the comforting sensation grows stronger with every step this figure takes.
The darkness within you tries with all it's might to force this gentle being back only
To fail, you are torn in thousands of directions as the darkness continues to makes attempts to retain your heart, but as the figure continues to moves forward something happens within you, this whole new feeling forms in your heart and for once the pain begins to vanish. Slowly this new feeling fills your heart forcing the darkness out and allowing the light in, your eyes gaze upwards to the figure whose arms are out stretched, you run to the figure letting the warm embrace consume you. For once you are truly happy.
She cries herself to sleep at night
Thinking of the way things used to be
Only to find in her dreams the love she had
Could never be only in a cruel fantasy
Only to awake into a broken heart.
Her broken tears fade away into the night
Of the illusion of him she once believed
Only to see the escape she seeked to be
A false reality.

Love is one of those emotions that no one can afford anymore because the price is majority of the time a broken heart or just an empty promise, that you find yourself waiting on. Only to end up waiting on something that was never there to begin with, They say love is the most powerful force on earth well so is a the hurt that can follow that so called love. Honestly its hard to love knowing that anytime your heart could be ripped form your chest and broken, How many guys & girls go through life looking for that one person they feel is their soul mate just to go through pain all the time in order to find that person is it really worth that kind of Price.
