Patriotism what does it mean?
Is patriotism to support war?
To support higher taxes?
or is to support budget cuts?
Cuts for medicaid and schools?
Do we have to be patrotic?
Why must me support selfish, rich men?
and support leaders that lead us to death?
The rich get richer
and the poor get poorer
Where in the constitution does it allow that?
When did the president get so much power?
Our lives are in his hands
We can lose everything in an instant
But we still support these men
While we struggle to eat and survive
Our leaders stuff their faces
FREEDOM!!What freedom?
freedom to starve
freedom to be hurt
freedom to be denied
because of no insurence
freedom to be taken
from your family
freedom to be killed
freedom to talk
when you don't say to much
freedom to supprt moneyt hungry pigs
freedom to die
wait! thats not a freedom
I will be a patriot
and you can have everything i have
I will support you Mr. President
You take my husband and sons
I will sacrifice my sleep to work
You can take my money in taxes
and i will not see a doctor
I will die painfully and slow
and i will kep my mouth shut
Thats the true meaning of patriotism
