1) always remember this is the internet 2) Be careful who you give your heart to 3) Many here are players, with many accounts 4) Never trust anyone , who says trust me. 5) If you give your heart , be prepared for the consequences. 6) Even if they sound sincere, they may not be Do not feel bad if this has happened to you. It has happened to the best of us. Some come off, so charming and lovable , only to find later, they are married or playing many at the same time.. This is a nightclub, nothing more, nothing less. Just have fun and move on with your life.. Bright Blessings to all

The Wiccan Rede

The Wiccan Rede (Full Version) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bide within the Law you must, in perfect Love and perfect Trust. Live you must and let to live, fairly take and fairly give. For tread the Circle thrice about to keep unwelcome spirits out. To bind the spell well every time, let the spell be said in rhyme. Light of eye and soft of touch, speak you little, listen much. Honor the Old Ones in deed and name, let love and light be our guides again. Deosil go by the waxing moon, chanting out the joyful tune. Widdershins go when the moon doth wane, and the werewolf howls by the dread wolfsbane. When the Lady's moon is new, kiss the hand to Her times two. When the moon rides at Her peak then your heart's desire seek. Heed the North winds mighty gale, lock the door and trim the sail. When the Wind blows from the East, expect the new and set the feast. When the wind comes from the South, love will kiss you on the mouth. When the wind whispers from the West, all hearts will find peace and rest. Nine woods in the Cauldron go, burn them fast and burn them slow. Birch in the fire goes to represent what the Lady knows. Oak in the forest towers with might, in the fire it brings the God's insight. Rowan is a tree of power causing life and magick to flower. Willows at the waterside stand ready to help us to the Summerland. Hawthorn is burned to purify and to draw faerie to your eye. Hazel-the tree of wisdom and learning adds its strength to the bright fire burning. White are the flowers of Apple tree that brings us fruits of fertility. Grapes grow upon the vine giving us both joy and wine. Fir does mark the evergreen to represent immortality seen. Elder is the Lady's tree burn it not or cursed you'll be. Four times the Major Sabbats mark in the light and in the dark. As the old year starts to wane the new begins, it's now Samhain. When the time for Imbolc shows watch for flowers through the snows. When the wheel begins to turn soon the Beltane fires will burn. As the wheel turns to Lamas night power is brought to magick rite. Four times the Minor Sabbats fall use the Sun to mark them all. When the wheel has turned to Yule light the log the Horned One rules. In the spring, when night equals day time for Ostara to come our way. When the Sun has reached it's height time for Oak and Holly to fight. Harvesting comes to one and all when the Autumn Equinox does fall. Heed the flower, bush, and tree by the Lady blessed you'll be. Where the rippling waters go cast a stone, the truth you'll know. When you have and hold a need, harken not to others greed. With a fool no season spend or be counted as his friend. Merry Meet and Merry Part bright the cheeks and warm the heart. Mind the Three-fold Laws you should three times bad and three times good. When misfortune is enow wear the star upon your brow. Be true in love this you must do unless your love is false to you. These Eight words the Rede fulfill: "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Two Witches

Two Witches I absolutely love this story! It teaches a lesson and it's about the craft. Perhaps it would be a good story to tell any pagan children, Enjoy! TWO WITCHES A Modern Craft Fairy-Tale by Mike Nichols Once upon a time, there were two Witches. One was a Feminist Witch and the other was a Traditionalist Witch. And, although both of them were deeply religious, they had rather different ideas about what their religion meant. The Feminist Witch tended to believe that Witchcraft was a religion especially suited to women because the image of the Goddess was empowering and a strong weapon against patriarchal tyranny. And there was distrust in the heart of the Feminist Witch for the Traditionalist Witch because, from the Feminist perspective, the Traditionalist Witch seemed subversive and a threat to "the Cause". The Traditionalist Witch tended to believe that Witchcraft was a religion for both men and women because anything less would be divisive. And although the Goddess was worshipped, care was taken to give equal stress to the God-force in nature, the Horned One. And there was distrust in the heart of the Traditionalist Witch for the Feminist Witch because, from the Traditionalist viewpoint, the Feminist Witch seemed like a late-comer and a threat to "Tradition". These two Witches lived in the same community but each belonged to a different Coven, so they did not often run into one another. Strange to say, the few times they did meet, they felt an odd sort of mutual attraction, at least on the physical level. But both recognized the folly of this attraction, for their ideologies were worlds apart, and nothing, it seemed, could ever bridge them. Then one year the community decided to hold a Grand Coven, and all the Covens in the area were invited to attend. After the rituals, the singing, the magicks, the feasting, the poetry, and dancing were concluded, all retired to their tents and sleeping bags. All but these two. For they were troubled by their differences and couldn't sleep. They alone remained sitting by the campfire while all others around them dreamed. And before long, they began to talk about their differing views of the Goddess. And, since they were both relatively inexperienced Witches, they soon began to argue about what was the "true" image of the Goddess. "Describe your image of the Goddess to me," challenged the Feminist Witch. The Traditionalist Witch smiled, sighed, and said in a rapt voice, "She is the embodiment of all loveliness. The quintessence of feminine beauty. I picture her with silver-blond hair like moonlight, rich and thick, falling down around her soft shoulders. She has the voluptuous young body of a maiden in her prime, and her clothes are the most seductive, gossamer thin and clinging to her willowy frame. I see her dancing like a young elfin nymph in a moonlit glade, the dance of a temple priestess. And she calls to her lover, the Horned One, in a voice that is gentle and soft and sweet, and as musical as a silver bell frosted with ice. She is Aphrodite, goddess of sensual love. And her lover comes in answer to her call, for she is destined to become the Great Mother. That is how I see the Goddess." The Feminist Witch hooted with laughter and said, "Your Goddess is a Cosmic Barbie Doll! The Jungian archetype of a cheer-leader! She is all glitter and no substance. Where is her strength? Her power? I see the Goddess very differently. To me, she is the embodiment of strength and courage and wisdom. A living symbol of the collective power of women everywhere. I picture her with hair as black as a moonless night, cropped short for ease of care on the field of battle. She has the muscular body of a woman at the peak of health and fitness. And her clothes are the most practical and sensible, not slinky cocktail dresses. She does not paint her face or perfume her hair or shave her legs to please men's vanities. Nor does she do pornographic dances to attract a man to her. For when she calls to a male, in a voice that is strong and defiant, it will be to do battle with the repressive masculine ego. She is Artemis the huntress, and it is fatal for any man to cast a leering glance in her direction. For, although she may be the many-breasted Mother, she is also the dark Crone of wisdom, who destroys the old order. That is how I see the Goddess." Now the Traditionalist Witch hooted with laughter and said, "Your Goddess is the antithesis of all that is feminine! She is Yahweh hiding behind a feminine mask! Don't forget that it was his followers who burned Witches at the stake for the "sin" of having "painted faces". After all, Witches with their knowledge of herbs were the ones who developed the art of cosmetics. So what of beauty? What of love and desire?" And so the argument raged, until the sound of their voices awakened a Coven Elder who was sleeping nearby. The Elder looked from the Feminist Witch to the Traditionalist Witch and back again, saying nothing for a long moment. Then the Elder suggested that both Witches go into the woods apart from one another and there, by magick and meditation, that each seek a "true" vision of the Goddess. This they both agreed to do. After a time of invocations, there was a moment of perfect stillness. Then a glimmer of light could be seen in the forest, a light shaded deepest green by the dense foliage. Both Witches ran toward the source of the radiance. To their wonder and amazement, they discovered the Goddess had appeared in a clearing directly between them, so that neither Witch could see the other. And the Traditionalist Witch yelled "What did I tell you!" at the same instant the Feminist Witch yelled "You see, I was right!" and so neither Witch heard the other. To the Feminist Witch, the Goddess seemed to be a shining matrix of power and strength, with courage and energy flowing outward. The Goddess seemed to be holding out her arms to embrace the Feminist Witch, as a comrade in arms. To the Traditionalist Witch, the Goddess seemed to be the zenith of feminine beauty, lightly playing a harp and singing a siren song of seduction. Energy seemed to flow towards her. And she seemed to hold out her arms to the Traditionalist Witch, invitingly. From opposite sides of the clearing, the Witches ran toward the figure of the Goddess they both loved so well, desiring to be held in the ecstasy of that divine embrace. But just before they reached her, the apparition vanished. And the two Witches were startled to find themselves embracing each other. And then they both heard the voice of the Goddess. And, oddly enough, it sounded exactly the same to both of them. It sounded like laughter. __________________________________________________

My Willow Tree is Reborn

The first new day of the year, I get a call, from my home town. So early in the morn, what could it be? I knew I was about to see. Cassy, my friend, you will not believe. I drove by the old road you know so well. I decided to walk for a spell. As I neared your old plot of land. I saw something, brushing away snow with my hand. Just then a lady so appeared, a smile on her face. She said I know why you are here! Softly, she began to sing this song. Cassy, I knew it, I felt it this morn. You my dear have been reborn. I knew something was wrong, now all is divine. I walked out this morn and what did I see? A lovely Weeping Willow Tree. I looked to the sky, there up above Flew two beautiful white doves. I heard his old voice, I knew so well. Calling you, saying it will all be right This new year will be bright. This is the last time I will be around. Life for you has all new bounds. Live it to the fullest. Absorb all you can. Take what you need, leave all the rest. I wish for you nothing, but, the best! As I turned to walk away. I knew this was going to be great day! I rushed home to give you a call. To tell you of what I saw. I wish for you my dearest friend; All that life has to offer, to the very end! Happy New Year, I do love you so. Was quite a thrill to see your Willow tree grow!

A Humanist Code of Ethics

When you live your life with an appreciation of coincidences and their meanings, you connect with the underlying field of infinite possibilities~~ A Humanist Code of Ethics: Do no harm to the earth, she is your mother. Being is more important than having. Never promote yourself at another's expense. Hold life sacred; treat it with reverence. Allow each person the digity of his or her labor. Open your home to the wayfarer. Be ready to receive your deepest dreams; sometimes they are the speech of unblighted conscience. Always make restitutions to the ones you have harmed. Never think less of yourself than you are. Never think that you are more than another.

The Crone years

The Crone Years Contrary to the sanctions of a culture that worships and glorifies youth The crone years are not simply the interlude between life and death Oh no! These are her omnipotent years These autumnal years when her womb is fallow but she continues to give birth from her fruitful creative self Her nurturing spirit comes not from hormones but from her wisdom of choosing to live fully Both her inner and outer vision see new possibilities Her awareness of her connectedness to all of creation is enhanced She cherishes the poignancy of the sunrise on the horizon of each new day She embraces the quiet of the darkness time when she shares her harvest of life stories This is the legacy she bequeaths Be who you are Trust who you are today

Sweet Words of Wisdom

The proof of spiritual maturity is not how pure you are but awareness of your impurity. That very awareness opens the door to grace. Beauty is the purgation of superfluities. There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. A man can counterfeit love, he can counterfeit faith, he can counterfeit hope and all the other graces, but it is very difficult to counterfeit humility. The test of good manners is to be patient with bad ones. No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings. He that does evil that good may come, pays a toll to the devil to let him into heaven. The thing always happen that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen.

Return To My Willow Tree

One day many years ago,I decided To go back to see my Willow tree. As I passed by, I couldn't believe my eyes Nowhere could I find my friend, my tree. As I got out of my car, tears began to swell Where was my old friend I knew so well? Lanes of houses, where he used to stand. All that was left was a plot of land. As I walked so gingerly, came a woman up to me. As I told her of my old tree. She just smiled and said this to me. Your name must be Cassy,I know you by heart. I have waited ever so patiently. I knew one day you would come to me, I heard your named called endlessly. I have a message, that I will sing. That old tree, made me promise to sing to thee. I know you will come back one day to me. I know I have taught you well. No more tears, no more shell. That little girl, now stands tall. I managed to break down your walls. Love replaced all the hate, Now is time to reciprocate. Pass that on to the next you meet. Teach them as I once taught you. Never feel like you were beat, A woman here, where a girl once stood. Sorry to say,is a new neighborhood. Everything will one day die. You do not hear me cry! I love you, with all my heart. Now is time for a brand new start. Walk away, remember me as I once was. Sorry to say, we must now part. Was a pleasure to know you dear. This comes from my heart. As I walked away, this lady just sighed. As she was waving Good-Bye. As I walked to my car, I could still hear her sing her song. Good-bye sweet Cassy, Good-bye my sweet tree I will never forget this sad day. Some things come, some things go. Maybe another Weeping Willow Tree will grow.

Loving Again

Goodness, I sit here daily on my computer. My life on Aol, and Ct, seems somehow to make my life a little easier. I am perfectly content with my mondane lifestlye.. I learned long ago to live life alone , that I didn't need a man to make me feel complete or whole. So I keep my distance from men. Alway's at arms length! I Made a vow to myself , that I would live the rest of my life alone. I thought it not fair to laden a man with my baggage. So living my last days alone was fine with me. Well, a while ago, I met this "Fine Gentleman". We started talking and I was feeling something that wasn't supposed to happen..I had built the finest walls that Witches can make.. Built of the best concrete and steel that I can conjour up... As each day passed we talked more and more. Getting to know each other well.. I noticed there were little cracks. I wasn't all too happy with these little cracks, now in my walls. Was I losing my touch? I have a special place that I have stored some very valuable entities. Called "Love", "Intimacy". You know, the good stuff, the sweet nothings and everythings we all share with one of the opposite sex! Well,I wasn't having any of this. NO Way! Well, little did I know, My walls were crumbling , right before my very eyes! How was this possible?' Along the way this fine specimen of a man. Who I might add, has a great package. Smart, handsome, kind, sweet, many attibutes that a man would love to possess. I had to do some repairs, quickly I might add. I couldn't allow a man to get that close to me..Well, I found it was way to late . My once humble walls, were now in shambles. Lying all in pieces... My steel that once protected those walls were nowhere to be found. I awoke and had realized that I had fallen hopelessly in love with this man. Now, what was I supposed to do? He too, had fallen in love with me.. Imagine that! He gave me a name along the way.. I still giggle like a school girl when I see or hear it. "Sweet Witch". isn't that cute? hehehe..He has made me his Sweet witch. I also realized that to never love, is to never live! Some of you know who I am speaking of. For not a day goes by I am not talking about him to someone.. You ask, who could have done this superb feat? My Dear Sweet Ghostdancer! Come see the love of my life..(He may kill me for this)...lol.. Visit with ghostdance, See my handsome love of my life! I avow my love to you my ghostdancer, for here and all of time!! mwahhhhhhhhhhhh image.php?u=258636&i=1231312368&tn=1 Just click on his picture to go there...Blessed Be

Weeping Willow tree

These are the words spoken to me, as I sat under the Weeping Willow Tree. Listen to the wisps of the Willow tree, Do you hear, do you percieve? Whispering life secrets, spoken only to you. Heed these words,I want you to see. Soft, sweet words spoken only to me Learn them well, they will guide you through, Make you aware, of life's little treasures. For they are everywhere. Listen intently, ever so close. For your very special, not like most. That soul of yours is very old. Taken from a special mold. Don't ever give up, so much lies ahead. Life holds so much sweetness, it's not all dread. Those gifts you possess, were not given in vain. They are here to assist you. As you walk the plain. As you get older, you will understand. Life is just a master plan. So my child, take it from me. I would never steer you wrong. So I sing to thee, this special song. Alway's listen to the wisps of the Weeping Willow tree.
