bloodshot eyes glowing fiercely in the dark
luring the weak into the confines of these walls
the mental snap
flipping the switch
explosions of red entering into sight
as the screams grow louder
the rage fuels the fires in my heart
left alone and forced into remission
the shadows drawing near echoing my doom
strangled cries coming from dark rooms
and the screams growing quiet
insanity banging the drums in my head
visions of the dead haunted my dreams
now theyre gone and left to rot
all that remains are the voices in my head
leading me on my way into the darkness
this world mirrored to reflect our dark sides
a world without light where passion is a dark act

this is my dark side
the age of time ticking through the generations
constantly speeding up and slowing down
for it is only a perception of the mind
that has gained ground in our brains
gone are we in the blink of an eye
for every second is a fluctuating of our memories
a minor case of deja vu drowning out the sights and sounds that differ
relapses in memory granting small gifts of time indifferent
natural processes that spark inside our cores
like the bomb already on the count
we await the natural order of life and death
and even then time carries us further then these simple fragments
reality being flexed and bent to correct the paradoxes ensuring that as long as we exist so will time in our eyes
this is perceptive thought in motion
rolling faster than the concepts
this is the age of time
pure white has filled my vision
with the cold air flowing i stand amidst the flurry
a beacon of light in the storm
my strength will be given freely
until the last drop of my energy is taken from me
the defense of this structure is in my charge
to be the crying shoulder to those who come seeking my aid
and in this i will never change
no matter how dark the storm
the strength of many back me up
legion in a sense of the word
this project will prove true to its word
chaos eternal will strive to diminish my work
with the power of magick granted to me
by those who work besides me

so we send the symphony of love and strength to counteract
the evil that constantly spreads with no messiah at hand

those with many faces that can force the change against this deadly assailant
clouded by dark desires
waiting to see the blood spilling
into the depths of the ravine
this precipice that was rocked by the chaotic emotions
that have slowly ripped apart the souls of our beings
with the light swinging
the shadows bringing an illustrious flair to this overpowering battle of wills
emitting a warzone that is expanding
encircling to many
despair rises as moral falls
each side only registering the final death blow
mere wounds unthought of until that final explosion
the light fades and the shadows change to oblivion
with death creeping in from the shadows
that gloomy sight of bony hands reaching out
sending ripples of terror down the spine
the flash of a smile tearing through the night
standing my ground as one with no fear
to battle death knowing that the immortal cannot die
to think a mortal such as i could knowing full well the consequences
with no decent choice to choose from
ill refuse to run ive been running for to long
through the blood drenched battles of my sanity
ill defend my soul with whatever remains of my purity
to hope that maybe a lucky strike will force retreat upon this omen
this is why i smile at deaths approach
to tempt fate out of remission
the reaper and i shall duel for the rights of life

light shine upon me to form a safe haven from the darkness
