Whispering Winds Tell Me A Story. . .
The whispers from the winds of time
Are carried to me by Melpomene*
Whose knife pierces the fabric of tragic memories
That continue to haunt my dreams. . .
The whispering winds will not let me forget
The shadows of my past sins
Trying in vain to outrun my demons
Never wanting to give in again . . .
The winds of change forever whisper
In my ears and serves to remind me
That the darkness is only a shadow of light
Which was always within me. . .
The whispers from the past
Now resonate with clarity
As I accept all my faults
And learn to embrace the darkness willingly. . .
For I've finally learned and accepted
That the shadows made me who I am
And it only took the whispers from the wind
To enable me to again stand . . .
Whispering winds tell of a story
Of how a fallen one has earned back wings
Although the heart is still heavy
The spirit can once again rejoice and sing. . .

*Melpomene (IPA pronunciation: [m?l'p?m?ni]) ("to sing" or "the one that is melodious") was a Muse in Greek mythology. She was the muse of tragedy, despite her joyous singing. She is often represented with a tragic mask and wearing the cothurnus, boots traditionally worn by tragic actors. Often, she also holds a knife or club in one hand and the tragic mask in the other. On her head she is shown wearing a crown of cypress. Melpomene is the daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne. Her sisters include Calliope (muse of poetry), Clio (muse of history), Euterpe (muse of flute playing), Terpsichore (muse of dancing), Erato (muse of erotic poetry), Thalia (muse of comedy), Polyhymnia (muse of hymns), and Urania (muse of astronomy).
WOULD YOU . . .
Would you kiss away all of my pain
And make me believe in the dream of love again?
Will you hold me protectively in your arms
And promise to always keep me safe from harm?
Would you be my shelter from the storm this dark night
And banish all my fears ~ dispel all my fright?
Will you unshackle these chains of guilt
And bring me to the stronghold your love once built?
Would you make all my dreams come true
And let me know how much I mean to you?
Will you now take my hand, my love ~ my heart
And promise me that we will never again be apart?
If all of these vows you can make to me
Then I'll once again believe in love for eternity.
I have given you all I have left to give
And let you know that in your love I want to live
So that my heart can heal, and I can feel whole
Please, oh please . . . don't let me play the fool
I'll be your Angel. . .your love. . .your muse
Whatever you want me to be, just don't refuse
My heart. . . my love . . . my life

Love's Dream . . .
Images of you dance through my dreams
A kiss sent to me on a butterfly's wing
I feel your caresses as I'm bathed in moonbeams
Your eyes in the stars above make my heart sing . . .
A gentle breeze blows though my hair
On this night my gaze to the heavens above
I feel your presence in the surrounding air
As I close my eyes and dream of love. . .
Floating on a cloud of memories
Relishing visions of the past
Leaving behind painful realities
Wishing this dream would somehow last. . .
In dreams of love I want to live
Where my heart can stay in tact and whole
My love to you I freely give
And in dreams I never play the fool. . .
Caught in the snare of Mab's web each night
I eagerly succumb to the dream of love
But awake each morn with no delight
As love has flown on the wings of a dove . . .
I'm left yet again with the dawn of reality
In the colorful fingers of the early morn
Always longing for the night's dream of you and me
And await the time for true love to be born. . .

Passions Unleashed. . .
Unrestrained sexuality
Harbored deep within the core of me
My inner demons long to be set free
Begging to succumb to your sweet ecstasy. . .
Always under the surface
Begging to come out and play
An Angel in Black Leather
Searches for her new prey. . .
Becoming harder to control her
I try desperately to hold her at bay
She is the voice of my desires
Which come out each night when in bed I lay. . .
The passion which burns fervently within
Setting me ablaze with lust's fires
I strive for control ~ trying in vain to keep her unleashed
She is my uninhibited wanton desires. . .
Shackled by the chains of guilt and shame
Of lustful fantasies awaiting to be fulfilled
My unbridled passions overtake me
And I gladly bend to your seductive skills. . .
Anticipation is mounting
Building with increasing need
Fiery passions unleashed from within
To my mind's logic, I no longer take heed. . .
I finally succumb to sweet ecstasy
As my passions you have freed
From deep within the core of me
Unrestrained sexuality. . .

Not Yours. . .
When you look at me
What do you see
Or imagine me to be?
Have you looked into my eyes
Or even tried to see past the disguise?
Look deeper than the façade
Why don't you see through the mirage?
Or do you just want the pretty face
Without the underlying strength or grace?
I am neither a trophy nor your prize
If you really saw me, you would have realized
But you saw only what you wanted to see
Never scratched the surface of me
You mistook my quiet demeanor
And knowing smile
For acquiescence and grossly underestimated
Me all the while
I'll not be your fragile porcelain doll
I am not a geisha at your beck and call
I need not your flattery nor masculine guile
And how I loathe your lies so vile
Don't tempt me with truffles
Or miniscule baubles
I cannot be bribed nor bought
I know it was only my body
And not my mind that you sought
A pretty face with naught for brains
That was your first and costly mistake
You were so arrogant and truly vain
If you thought my heart you could easily take
So, I'll ask you again before I go
And it is only because I truly want to know
What did you see
When you first looked at me
What did you imagine me to be?

Create a Masterpiece with Me. . .
Let me be the canvas
Upon which you paint my desire
With each stroke of your brush
You skillfully fan the flames of lust's fire
With each little variance
In subtle color and hue
You bring my body alive
As I eagerly succumb to you . . .
Let me be the parchment
Upon which you lay your quill
As I absorb each and every stroke
While I bend to your will
With such passionate ardor
Expertly with artistic creativity
You unleash my wanton desires
As you touch the very core of me. . .
Let me be the instrument
Upon which love's symphony is orchestrated
As you play each note upon my willing body
And all my passions at long last are sated
When we reach the melodious crescendo
While we ride the potent waves of ecstasy
Nothing else exists ~ time stands still
There's just you . . .here within me. . .

My Dream of You . . .
Close your eyes and come away with me
As I take you on a wonderful journey
Across the sea of time and space
To a magical and wondrous place. . .
Where Mab and Morpheus rule the land
And your dreams are dealt by their demand
Where reality no longer limits the mind
And true love you will always find . . .
Let Mab weave her dream-filled web
While you lay peacefully abed
Her chariot drawn by gossamer wings
As erotic visions to you she brings. . .
Or let your dreams by Morpheus guide
And I shall be ever at your side
Beneath the light of moon and stars
Feel the soft kiss of my lips from afar. . .
Let me be your love tonight
And I shall make everything so right
Let me take you to heaven's gate
And all your passions I will sate . . .

Caged Reflection . . .
Daddy's precious little Angel
The apple of his eye
She could do no wrong
He was always on her side. . .
Mother's fragile porcelain doll
Fashioned by her hand
The docile and obedient daughter
Always at her command . . .
The ever delicate sister
To be shielded from the world
She was never to speak her mind
For she was merely a girl . . .
Taught to be demure and shy
Always to be subservient and meek
Never to have her own opinion
Not raise her voice or even speak . . .
Her hand given in a loveless marriage
To a stranger to her heart and mind
She fulfills her duty obediently
While happiness she never finds. . .
Her husband takes her body
But he will never possess her heart
She shields the sadness from her eyes
But it is tearing her apart. . .
The finest silks adorn her body
This palace is naught but her cage
Put on display to be admired and honored
The demure smile belies her rage . . .
Her reflection is now a stranger
After several years of living a lie
Shackled and imprisoned in the name of duty
She longs to sprout wings and fly . . .
But knowing it would bring dishonor
She is resigned to this hand of fate
She secretly longs to be set free
From this gilded cage. . .
. . .but she knows it is already too late. . .

Web of Dreams . . .
Caught in the web of my dreams
Nothing is ever as it seems
Untangle my thoughts from yours
Enable my spirit to soar. . .
A single thought
Woven in time
Layered in dreams
Yet, you are not mine. . .
On the astral plane
Does love truly reign?
Interwoven in our thoughts
Higher levels of consciousness sought
Across time and space
I yield my will
Yet surrender not my spirit
To have my fill
Memories' threads woven with care
In the web of dreams ~ Is all fair?
Or are my dreams
Like dust scattered in the wind
Carried near and far
Fueled by the emotional scars
That time has yet to heal. . .
Ensnared by emotions
Run rampant
From the depths of my heart
I cry out in darkness
Only to find
A shadowed shackled visage
Within my mind's eye. . .
From that dream of us
I once dared to hope
And found that
The love I felt for you
Does indeed
Transcend the confines of time. . .
