| I am posting this mumm for some advice. We are in the process of trying to get my niece and nephew out of a bad home and living here with us. We took my niece to the doctor because we are concerned about her weight and that she is not thriving at her dad's house. The doctor told us that she is not thriving at her dad's and that if she as not being fed every other weekend at my place that she would not be thriving at all. The doctor reported her father to The Department of Human Services for her not thriving and other things. Then we had to take my nephew to the doctor today. Because he has had a bad cough. We found out that he has asthma. My sis called the kids dad again to try to get there medical card numbers and for the 3rd day in a row. He would not give them to her. We feel that he is neglecting the kids of the medications that they need by not giving us the numbers. Then he had the nerve to tell my sis that she is not to be taking the kid's to the doctor without his permission. DHS will be here at my place tomorrow to talk to the kids before they go back to their dads. So to make this a mumm, Should we keep fighting to get the kids removed from their dad's home and living with us or should we just let it be and let them stay living there where there is neglect and abuse going on. We so want the kids with us and they do not want to go back to their dad and step moms. Please no criticizing about this. It is very serious. |
