Yeah most of you don't know what the hell that means, but thats alright. I'm an Amtracker in the United States Marine Corps. When I get to Iraq my platoon will be given a few MRAPS to compliment our amtracs. I'm not sure what I want to be a crew chief on. I know an Amtrack (not a train, a kickass warfighting tracked vehicle with itty bitty armour), I know what it can do, what it can't do. I don't know jack shit about MRAPs (A badass invincible monster truck with only a single .50)
One has the warmth of familiarity and i know how to talk to it (Yes Amtracks have personalitys, some are sweetheart workhorses who will never let you done, some are out right bitches)
The other has the guarentee that I have less of a chance of getting blown to little tiny chunks, but i don't know how to talk to one. Anyway, I'm getting the choice, I don't know which way to go, any suggestions? |
