Life can be a merry-go-around that doesn't stop. Here I am ready to take a nice trip to a resort and have male friends commenting they would like to be able to do something like it. So I invite one male friend because I have an extra bedroom there. They say yes, then when I contacted him to see what time he would be ready to leave, then he backs down. The worst part is saying he has something else to do, but would like to go on the next trip I plan.
I would not be upset, but this is the third time since I planned this trip for this to happen. I have the place paid for and I was taking my vehicle and paying for the gas. The only thing the friend would be paying for is their expense at entertainment and that would be dutch treat. I know money doesn't grow on trees and I enjoy bringing someone, but the excuses are driving me. It is just a short trip and if it worked out, then there would be a future trip at another resort in another state.
Men put they like to travel as a hobby, but so far they seem not to like travel out of the state. The last trip I took a female friend and her children, they all had a blast. I enjoy giving friends a chance at travel that they usually don't have.
I am still going on this trip because I do like to travel out of the state and experience new things. I have the cameras ready to do some photography of the scenery. So come Friday, I will be at a golf resort in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas alone. I don't play golf but I will be using the indoor pool and spa.
