How do you really know when there is "Chemistry" between you and another person? How do you know if it is really chemistry or if it is something else, such as wanting something you can't have, simply physical attraction, or just being lonely? What does "Chemistry" actually mean? Is it how well, your personalities interact, or is it how a person makes you feel when you are around them, or maybe there is something deeper, more spiritual?
Well, I believe that "Chemistry" is actually a combination of all of those things and more. "Chemistry" to me signifies the interweaving of different aspects of feelings, both physical and spiritual/emotional of two individuals.
Dictionary.com defines "Chemistry" in the following manner:
1. the science that deals with the composition and properties of substances and various elementary forms of matter. Compare element (def. 2).
2. chemical properties, reactions, phenomena, etc.: the chemistry of carbon.
3. the interaction of one personality with another: The chemistry between him and his boss was all wrong.
4. sympathetic understanding; rapport: the astonishing chemistry between the actors.
5. any or all of the elements that make up something: the chemistry of love.

So as we can see. What "Chemistry" actually IS can be a rather vague topic when speaking of Love and Relationships. I guess that there are many different ways to have "Chemistry" with someone else. Physical chemistry could include physical attraction, body compatibility, as well as sexual compatibility. Mental chemistry (being different from spiritual chemistry) would include things such as humor, personality, mannerisms, reactions, confidence, and general outlook on life. Spiritual chemistry would go into compatibilities of belief systems, astrology, and general "gut instincts" about the other person.
So to be able to get a perfect mix of these things is improbable if not nearly impossible, but I believe that it is possible in the right situation with the right two people. We just need to be able to know who we are and who the other person is to be able to find that one special person with whom we have a great "Chemistry." It is easy to find those with which we can have "good" chemistry, but finding the "great" chemistry is what we should strive for... Settling for the "good" chemistry before finding the "great" chemistry would be considered cutting ourselves short and even quitting. My adopted parents ingrained a phrase into my head: "Winners never quit and Quitters never win." Well, I don't know about anyone else, but as for me... I intend to Win...
